Top man Garry. I just changed my Insurance over to NFU and got the best deal of the lot . it worked out a little more expensive at £342 for me and the wife as the other named driver But my screen excess is only £25 when the other company wanted £100 plus a good few other savings in the deal... Much Apreciated mate Just one other thing if anyone can answer this!! my old Insurance company was a bit snotty and have told us we will need to pay them £25 for all their administration fees! obviousley I have told them to get stuffed but are they within their rights to do this? Nice one shell Hopefully there is some people on here who specialize in Motor Insurance who could put us in the picture! it seems like there alot of companies have made a few changes to their policies for one reason or another, thankfully the wife went through our policy and picked up things had changed in the small print, I am the named driver on the Navara and the Missus is the the second driver...... I was a little confused at first as there has been some funny BOP flying about round this way!! one in particualr was very simular to the one in the picture but it seemed to make noises like it was talking . I'm sure it said "Give us a chick you b*****d", I'll listen a bit more careful next time ... Jasper

I have just been onto two different Insurance companies and neither of them will Insure me to drive any other car with the owners permision even under third party as they have in the past . one of them told me that alot of the Insurance companies are now tightening up on policies allowing people to do this anymore which is a bummer.... If anyone has renewed their Insurance lately and they are still covered for this can you fire it up for me Please? cheers Jasper

Many thanks stubby cheers . I'll get out and give it a whirl soon now I know what my Nobs for the other thing I have noticed is since I picked up there MK3M collars they seem to give a faster signal than the older MK3 collar, not as if it will perhaps make any difference but I thought I would mention it...... atb Jasper

It used to be The policy Holder may also drive other private motor cars with the owners permision Basically this covered me to drive mates cars or whoever which I do regular... Its now changed to Driving other vehicles cover not included . Its funny how the best Hunter soon tag onto the idea of self Hunting! some obviousley have worked out their powers in Hunting so get out and do it for themselves. I think alot of this can also happen when you Hunt with a Bird consistantly without doing any fist or lure bonding on the odd occasions, time out making the bird to the fist or lure can make a real difference expecially when the bird is still being made in its first year.... when you think of it the way we fly Harrishawks and Redtails we actually encourage them to self hunt, we put them up a tree and push underneath them, whi

Its a good question Trojan. If a good pairing has been made up from some years ago from well known hunting blood lines, or birds that have proved themselves in the field time and time again then I can't see it making much difference to the quality of the youngsters however long the pairs have been grounded for breeding! the blood line will still be the same while that pairing are together no matter what.... There's a few things that give me the arse! for instance when related blood lines are placed together for so called line breeding or perhaps because both birds was good performers i

I noticed with the Pinpointer if I turn it completley Anti clockwise so the sound is off the Audible signal kicks in again when I'm about 12inches above the Transmitter. weather this is supposed to give a more accurate indication how close I am to the Ferret I don't know but I'm now getting the Impresion this Pinpointer is there to help be a little more accurate at close range , can anyone give me some advice on how to use the Pinpointer?...... Roy jones either on points or a late stoppage. the old Sugar Ray Leonard technique of hit and get on your bike could well be the way so soften up Calzaghe in the earley rounds and mix it with him in the latter part of the fight... You get the impresion that someone with quick hands on the move working in and out would have the measure of Calzaghe ... Jasper

don't take that route yet CC . I had a Tiercel Pere with Bumble foot in 95!! the vet did a culture on the wound and perscribed <Baytril>. the bird was on this drug with a couple of operations on and off for around 3 months with no joy! I finally went back to the vet who said to me "Have you thought about having him PTS?" I said nope not at the least and payed the bill of around £600 and took him to another vet for a second opinion... the other Vet worked with Neil Forbes over the phone and followed his guidence!! the bird was prescribed a different drug after another culture called

Yep nice one mate . she is on Antibiotics at the moment due to a Bacterial infection but she will be ok when she finishes the course on sunday.... I rang up Bob Haddon tonight who told me he had some simular problems with Goshawks in the past he has flown with Gut Bacteria Imbalance but soon came round after some Antibiotics. This was the guy who sorted me with my first Goshawk who I certainly got some tips from and built on a good few years back. I had to learn from someone on shortwings with a few tricks of the trade and this guy is one I still share questions with, when I read posts by

Nice one Comanche! I have a MK3 with the Pinpointer volume knob by I can't quite work out how to use it . it was explained to me to keep turning it right down so their is no audible signal, it will then only become audible when you virtually right on top of it!! is this right or is their alot more to it than this? cheers Jasper

Yep plenty of them alright expecially over the last 5 years or so!! Plenty of Frank Beebes, Hal Websters, E B Michelle's, I've also bumped into some Jack Mavrogordatos some duplicate Ronny Moores and Bob Haddons of late expecially on the forums .... Whats happend to Falconers these days who do their apprentiship with Kestrals, Buzzards or even Redtails before taking on something like a Gos? learning to swing the lure, makeing birds to the Hood different temperaments and metabolisms and handling techniques, it seems to me thats all the basics are now going down the swany river these days...
