    Some of My Falcons !!

The second and third are both 7/8ths gyr..1/8ths saker , yes , but gyr/sakers come in variying crosses , im not keen on half/ crosses or ever 3/4tr gyrs.....but the 7/8ths , they are bred by crossing a pure gyr to a 3/4 tr gyr, so they perform quite differnt from a straight 50 cross...they need a lot of sky , and are a right b*****d to crack..(they make gosses look like harrises) and many lads can and do struggle with them , i have myself at times....but once sorted they are real belters , they fetch about £1000 each for the males..good luck next season, and if you need any help just pm..

    Hello some hawks !!

...yes one of the pics is repricated on my other thread... Why did you not state that in the first place instead of trying to bluff it.. ..and the hare on this thread is the same as the other one you have duplicated on the other thread.. You mention poult's..at least i am honest and show what the bird has been catching..how many baggies and even younger poult's will that imprint of caught.. .. Also look at the date's of my picture's with the pheasant.. ..you will see it's a bit late for poult's in some of them..and not once has he had a baggie..i woul say that.. .. Now i suspect yo
  4. They will only get cheaper lads as more and more people get the knack and breed them ,the supply is far out weighing the demand , its not just harrises either some hybrid falcons are real cheap gosses are comming down , only merlins and peregrines fetch any real money...col

    manning a falcon

You are welcome to be footed by my Per/prairie if you like - she has a grip better than any HH. Mike Id agree with you here Mike , prairies are indeed exceptionaly powerfull falcons , comes from the habitat in which they inhabit , they are possibly more powerfull than a harris in foot power...............on the manning a falcon , i actually think much of the tameness with falcons comes once your flying them regular , there is no need what so ever to " man " a falcon as you would a hawk , their natures are completely different...often you find that lads moving on to their first falcon fr
