    Most folk would not believe how good the 77 is if they've never shouldered one, well over engineered for it's time, I still own one, it's seen some action, and shows it, but it's still a seriously good gun. Grandfather of the 97.

    It depends on what I'm shooting, ratting I zero around 18 yards, if I expect to shoot further out, then zero at 30 yards, just suits the milldots on my scope.
