Was there ever a dress code at the old venues ? I remember my old flea and uncles going to watch fights and they always dressed smart ... The last fight I watched was Audley Hayes and I drees fairly smart but casual for the night but there were fellas there in vest t shirts and trackie bottoms ... If there was a dress code and they re introduced it I wonder if would add a bit of class to the events and keep the yob culture at bay ??? .........

I spent a week innan's company and he is a genuinely nice bloke that knows his stuff ... I disagree in that the emphasis is now firmly on numbers caught rather than the quality of the runs. I ran on permission over 25 years ago , and some of the best permission in the country it was too.Ah well, I suppose I have my memories. If it's going to be used for animals the surely you are going to need walls mate and move away from the traditional pole barn ... Also ten foot tall is going to limit the amount of hay you can store ... Make it as big as you can ... Better to have to much space than not enough mate .........
