The answer is yes you can I have always done it ... Physically a bitch coming into season will put fat on around their organs and the hips and pelvic muscles will soften in preparation to get pregnant and give birth ... Some bitches will change moods due to hormones and will go off the boil ... However there is no reason to stop running a dog that's in season ......

I use a whip snare with a baited trigger for rats and I find this works better than a run of the mill whip snare as you are inviting the rats in with bait ... To earn a wage in this game you have to be multi skilled ... I ferret ... Lamp ... Snare ... Trap ... Shoot .. Longnet ... About the only thing I don't do,is fly birds of prey and that's because there isn't a massive need for it in pest control ... On the odd occasion I need to use one I have a few mates with Harris hawks goss's etc ........

As some of you are aware we had a trip away to Scotland last October that ended with us being arrested and jailed for 18 hours and charged with wildlife crimes and firearms offences ... Well as off today the prosecutor fiscal has dropped all charges and admits we have nothing to answer to ... Just got to get my guns back from Scotland now ..........
