Don't think you bruise something that's dead maybe I'm wrong If it's done soon after killing the rabbit you can get post mortem bruising but once the blood stops pumping and the rabbit has cooled you can't get any bruising .......

By the time you have done one rabbit with that method I will have done at least 5 with a knife ......

Obviously everybody on here are on top of their game when it comes to hunting fishing shooting that goes without saying .... But are you any good at anything else ... Riohog and midnight are top knife makers ... There are quite a few boys that can knock up a brilliant catapult ... We have Gnasher who was/is a very good boxer ... TOMO is the Mary berry of the hunting world .... So any of you lads or lasses got a particular skill or something you excel at ????? ..............

The axe will be used for cutting away small trees and limbs on awkward ferreting jobs ... Splitting logs on my camping nights ... Hammering the spike home on the collarum and just everyday typical axe work ... I am not really wanting a wooden handled axe as they become hard to handle in the wet and freezing weather ....... Anybody had one of these ...... http://www.thebushcraftstore.co.uk/schrade-extreme-survival-axe-with-firesteel-14318-p.asp

There was a whole series on Yellowstone and that explained the theory in detail and the wolves did indeed save Yellowstone national park .......

As the title says I am looking for a decent axe to carry around in the truck for work ... I've got a half decent wooden handled one so I was looking for something a little different but durable .......

Recent Bow Hunt At Bos En Dal Safaris
socks replied to Bos en Dal Safaris's topic in Big Game Hunting
But not so much the skill, just using one of the ancient hunting arts (albeit in it's modern high tech form) would be a very satisfying feeling to me as a hunter. I still think, in absence of legally being able to stalk a roe or red in English woodland, North America would be the place I'd want to bow hunt. Hell, if I could ever manage to leave the quintessential British hunting sports behind for another life, it'd be North America hunting with bow, hounds and a handfull of traps, hunting the way my ancestors did thousands of years ago. Could do with a bit more meat on him ........ -
Had to dust a massive hornets nest today ... Nothing unusual ... Typical nest up in the eves of a house and when you get there the hornets are dancing and striking at you around the head area ... Now this is where the first comes in ... One of them hit the face veil on the suite and must have unloaded his sting into the suite and his sting must have pierced the mesh and he unloaded his poison straight into my eye ... I could feel it instantly ... Luckily I had water in the truck and managed to wash my eye out pretty quickly .... I've got an eye like Dracula now lol ..........

Nope. I don't know a court date...it's Dymented that said he had a court date and as for being a nosy twunt. Dymented stopped posting on the other forum months ago, so it faded away and we all forgot about it. He brought it back up and that is when I realised something was wrong. Honestly, I don't need you to believe me, it makes no difference to me. But ask yourselves why I am so damn sure about things being not as they seem. I've admitted when I've got things wrong, I've apologised when I've made mistakes....but I still stand by my conviction that you should all take the blinkers off
