    How many lads on here can stop when out lamping or ferreting ... I find it easy to get what I want and call it a night or day ... I had a break in the fog last week and took the youngster out for a wander ... I lamped a few spots moved on lamped a few more and before I knew it I had thirty rabbits in the back of the truck ... Now to me that was plenty I didn't even need the thirty if I am honest but I wasn't counting ...     I don't see the need for one the dog has a perfectly good coat on its body already and it's hardly cold is it ... All that coat will do is stop the dogs natural coat from getting weather resistant and nice and thick and potentially cause the dog to overheat ....... Whatever ...... Ah well this is where you have made assumptions about how she wears her coat and what part of the country I live in....... She has started to wear her coat just this week as its been as low as minus, plus it's intending use is for curb walks......... secondly when we are on the mountains and she runs

    Socks, a little off topic, sort of, but do your parents still have that sloughi, and how is he shaping up? was a very nice pup that He is coming on nicely mate ... He is just over a year old and 29 inches and 70lbs ... He is a f****r for cats and kills them for fun ...,he has had a few rabbits but hasn't run anything else yet ... To be honest he has only just started to run properly and not like a gangly young giraffe .....

    I don't believe britain always had the best running dogs ... I would say the countries of origin to each breed had and still have the best dogs as they havnt been curtailed by a stupid ban and they have hundereds of years of understanding of their breed ........
