    Aye well said.....I've been off grid for a few days, no phone signal unless I walked a mile and no internet, it was bliss butt. Can't wait for the kids to finish school tomorrow and we'll be away again. I wish I could go up Trecastle river with the kids JB but I'm living to far away now.get them In the river they love it lol I've spent nearly every summer as a kid up there ... We would cycle up and spend the day in the river and either cycle home or just wild camp out ... Fond memories ......

    the pup i just got is a little lean for my liking socks. i got a recipe for mothers milk substitute. its 2 once goats milk a tbl.spoon whole yogourt and one egg. have you tried this i was told it was a good supliment. not that well up on nutrition. i always fed wheatabix and milk. Yep all good mate and it should be part of the pups diet anyway ... The litter I just raised would have two eggs each scrambled with enough goats milk on top to cool it down for breakfast then two meals of meat during the day then mixed chicken at night with a splash of goats milk to mix it up ...     Mine get weaned onto meat at 3 weeks and stay on it ... I supplement with eggs goats milk fish veg fruits raw bones etc from day one ... As for feeding amounts every dog is different ... The bitch I kept back from my litter will only eat two proper meals a day and a Small snack lunch time but I know some of her brothers and sisters are on 4 meals a day .......

    Not everybody feels that way fella ... There's plenty on here that have an interest in trapping ... If it's legal in your country then get the pics up its all education .......

    My dogs get worked most days and quite a few nights and the amount of dry food I would have to pump into them to keep them in condition would be ridiculous ... Apart from that dry takes a lot longer to digest fully and when your working dogs day in day out with nights thrown in they need high protein food that they can quickly digest and utilise and you won't get that from dry .........

    I use mixture of both covers all eventualities, but these new age feeds are a major step forward, they stem from Canada where the feed standards are massively better than our own poor standards for dogs and they not even in same ball park quality wiseYet all the top mushers out there feed their sled dogs predominantly on fish and meat ........ I've been out on the Iditarod (support crew) - our teams were fed a mixture of raw and kibble...as was every other team!! Yep I was there many moons ago that's why I said PREDOMINATELY feed meat and fish .......So the sled dogs get kibble? I wouldn't of

    Surely some are better than others! No? Of course there are But it's like Getting punched 50 times a day by a featherweight or getting punched 50 times a day by a heavyweight ... Neither is any good for you and will fukc you up just one will do it quicker than the other .........
