    Five weeks is fine if the pup is healthy ... minced beef minced chicken tinned sardines and full fat goats milk ... feed four or five times a day and keep water down permenantly ... pup will be just fine as long as the kennel is fraught proof and warm ... if you can trust one of the older dogs then let the pup sleep in with it ... it will feel Safer in company and will be much warmer ......

    I got bit on my leg by and adder about 7 years ago ... my leg felt like it had constant toothache for about two days ........

    Well it's been 3 1/2 months since Tilly's Achilles' tendon operation and it's been a slow process getting her back to fitness and it's not over yet .... by the end of last week I was taking her for a 2 mile jog every day and she was coping ok so I started her working this week ... I've got a few garden jobs on so I've spread them out so she is working a day on day off all week ... I had only been on the first job literally 2 minuets today When she pushed a rabbit out of a border hedge that took off across a big lawn towards a sort of copse they have in the middle of their property ...     If you've got a kennel and run set up then the dog will be more than fine left for the working day ... as Neil has just said if they are left out in the morning for a bit to he to toilet then given a good amount of exercise in the evening they will be just fine .....
