Andrew seeing as you know more about catching rabbits and dogs than me can you tell me how to train my dogs to run in a pack after easy dales rabbits whilst yapping like the hound of the baskerviles and then the big mystery to me is how to train them to not retrieve the rabbit but run around the field playing tug of war with it ???

I agree with the sugar it's very similar to how honey works and I've used it myself a few times ...... but due to which muscle that wound is on it's easy to go real deep with only a small tear ... it's a very powerful muscle which has large fibres which open easily ........

The length of a cut can be immaterial it's the depth that's more concerning with that wound ....

As you say don it takes a long time to heal if not stitched and it will run the risk of having a further muscle tear when stress is put on the muscle in the future ... strange the vet wouldn't treat it ... I had a similar injury a few years ago and my vet couldn't get to the surgery for a few hours due to being stuck at a farm but when he did he internally and externally stitched the wound which healed completely ........

All you guys saying don't stitch it do know it's the grasilis muscle don't you ... it's a deep muscle wound that will heal far quicker and stronger with stitches in it ......

Definitely stitches and due to the depth and muscle damage definitely a vet job .........
