With a power hammer and fully working shop I don’t see it being that difficult to be fair.

I finished work early today so I decided if I could forge a knife in an afternoon .... so four hours later I made this .... i cut a bottle opener into the spine and acid etched the blade and put on a mahogany handle ........

Just watched Andrew marr interview Nigel farrage ... he had no interest in questioning him on about what’s happening with the party all he did was drag up things that were said years ago. And fair play to farrage he pulled him and the BBC zip on it ........

Never tried that mate I will give it a go. I’ve found that three rounds of thermo cycling the blade then quenching In warmed up oil works well for leaf spring.

That was made out of a car leaf spring.

All my sheaths are hand stitched ... I do put a gusset in when needed but for those sheaths I extended the sheath length and tightened the top so the blade edge or point can’t touch the sheath ........

I had a little play with acid etching a pattern today ... so I drew on some flames with a white paint pen acid dipped then cleaned off ......

The stele came from an old digger blade ... very hard stuff it takes two disks on a disk cutter to get a couple of inches off .....
