Funny thing is that if i were to go out and catch some rabbit/pheasant or anything else gamey and i cooked it, they would not touch it, i ask them do they want some and the answer would be "im not touching it if you have killed it and cooked it" but if they got t in the super market they wouldn't think twice about not eating it. Funny i know lol
  2. you dont have to rely on the noise to get an exact location, use the LED`S as a visible reading... Exactly
  3. I dont mid carrying it, not sure wether to buy a 100yd 4Z or 6Z or 10Z lol
  4. How is the 10Z like when the rabbits hit it ?
  5. Not sure, i think that dog is trainer to find its quarry and bark as an indication to its owner that it has found something for the owner to come and dispatch it. Im pretty sure is they got into a rumble that the dog would win.
  6. What long net Z do you prefer and why? We use a 6Z and it seams to work fine with us, just wondering why people like the 4Z or 12Z, have they got an advantage over the 6Z net, Thanks

I go with a friend and we just ask politely if we can do some ferreting and ask if he would like to join us to gain his trust and respect for the land and animals and give it too weeks or so and ask if you can go lamping, he/she should have not got a problem after seeing you ferreting responsibly.

Basically you get as closets finding to the collar as you can and then turn the wheel until you cannot hear the beeping and then get closer by slowly move left-right forward-backward until the beeping come back and do the same, turn the wheel until you cannot hear it and wave it back and for, left and right until you can find the smallest surface ares, that why its called a "pin pointer" lol hope this helps Try practicing buy chucking the collar under the settee and get as close as you can to it, worked for me
  11. haha all the scraps went to the dog seen as its xmass they had a good turkey breast with gravy and a topping of some dog food lol

  13. Got up at 8:30 and by then the whole family was up, so i got dressed went into the lounge and open the presses HAVE A LOOK HERE
  14. A whole series of family guy, gotta love it, The Bank Job, A whole series of Golden Balls, £120, a Jamaican ash tray(love it) and a Mad Dog hunting jacket, feels awesome and David Beckam aftershave and body wash.

Mine was probably when a rabbit was running past my mate and he slid along the floor with his legs sticking out and the rabbit knocked its self out on his wellie, was very funny, i couldn't stop laphing. And the other one was when I was out with the same mate, got into the last field, spotted a rabbit about 15 yds away, both dogs slipped and it ran straight towards me, got down on one knee and it went straight through my legs with jack in hot pursuit behind it and jack(beddyXGrey) caught me flush on the nose and knocked me over, dizze for about 10 minutes and had a bleeding nose, lol Funny
  17. Funny enough, my grandad went x-mass shopping and came back with a reindeer hide that is very cumffy, my brother keeps calling it Rudolf

  19. C,mon mate, you're either comming the c t or know feck all about dogs. I'll let you tell us which it is. Is there need to be like that, Just saying what a old lurcher worker from my village told me, i asked him the same question and he told me to feed them an hour before working with a light food.
