K thanks mate, not going to buy that crap anymore, thanks Yep was told by an old boy who "claims" he had very good deerhound X greyhound crosses that he said the best nights they worked was when they were fed an hour or less before going out.

    Is tined food bad for them? Normally i feed them ONLY if i take them working not for everyday food

    My dads friend lost an arm climbing over a fence and another one was that a guy ripped half his face off with a shotgun How i know because my dad is a GP and my mum was a nurse lol

    Not eating before exercise causes cramp and stiches for humans and i have been told it is the same for working dogs. So if you want the best out of your dog i would feed it a tin of dog food about an hour before it goes out lamping/ferreting.

    Anyway lets get back to the above question Id say my weakness is that im not a very patient person, except when is comes to fishing or hunting

    Try doing a search on you questions mate, saves effort having to ask the same questions and saves time people answering them

    Still using open sights now after 6 years, limits my range a bit but i only shoot ferals and rats

    Swing through the target and keep your eye on it, do not look down the barrel, thats where hand eye coordination comes in, your arms will naturally mount the gun

    Yep make the knot, pull tight, and wrap in a light cover of gaffa tape, should last a while and shouldent slip down the pole, and cheaper then the grommits

    Not really, just get a bit of slack in the draw cord and them knot it and pull tight, some people like to give it a blast with a blow torch but doesnt make a difference really

Wow what a size of a lamp If I'd to use that on my ground being as exposed as it is, I'd need to wear a parachute for the landing!!! My lamps only a small itsy bitsy thing. I prefer to lamp my quarry in the field I am in rather than the neighbouring country!!! Yep it is mate, big lamp isnt it, But a bloody good one
