    Went ferreting the other day and was the whippets first time and my first running dog, so i put the ferret in with out nets and seeing as it was a burry in the open i wanted to bolt the rabbits to my whippet and my terrier and what fun i had, it was the best type of hunting that i have experienced so far, loved seeing the whippet run after them but she wasent to sure what they were but shes come along soon.

    Try clearing out the surface of where the warren is a day before the ferreting trip and to much noise and banging will make the rabbits reluctant to bolt

    They'll be right out of place if something nasty grabs your Bull-a-like by the nose, let's see how much "the same as a Bull X" they are with a big set of teeth clamped around it's muzzle, I reckon we'll all be able to hear it screaming up and down the country!!! These Lab X's are like the Wilkinsons/JML/Woolworths (RIP) version of a proper dog, they might look similar but they'll fall to bits if you use them hard!!!     Mate, if that is you in the picture, you are obviously a young guy; don't believe the "many people" who say their Labs course and catch rabbits !! It just doesn't happen !! One or two may taske a rabbit in exceptional circumstances, but NEVER on a regular basis !! My old Doberman has had a rabbit or two, more by good luck than owt else ! LOL " Cheers.     Experiment is what created most of the things in this work, why not with working dog breeds, but in a responsible way, i would be very happy to work with one of these types of breeds.

    I have seen one of LAL bull greylLab and he is a very nice dog, i cant see why these dog will not make a good lurcher. I have heard of many people labs coursing and catching rabbits, so if crossed with a grey bull then these pups should be just as good as any type of lurcher. I think these pups will be a excellent working dogs, there is not reason why not, they will have the speed the aggression and the intelligence and obedience all in one.

Is a slip lead that i made to my whippets measurements, very quick to release and put on the dog, very comfortable and to slip the dog you simply straighten your finger so that the smaller circular hole releases and slips off around your dogs neck, collar and slip lead all in one. £3.00 + £2.00 Recorded 1st Class Mail. 2. Is a slip lead that i bought off of ebay, same as the first on, not as comfortable but is ok, works exactly like the first one but has no small circular finger release.
