    I go out with a mate lamping and sometimes i use a webley Stingray and i have never even thought of shooting even a rabbit and 40 yds let alone 62, its either a VERY LUCKY shot or a VERY LUCKY shot. Have shot meany rabbits at 30-35 yds but a hare at 62 is a bit of a risk taker, did he take the shot to see if he would get lucky or did he know he was going to kill it straight away with one shot?

    Thanks Deker, made me think now, is the 12 bore an better choice, cheaper cartridges, and more popular gun choice, but the only issue i have is will it damage meat on rabbits badly? thats my only worry
