    you will be wanting to fish worm when the river is slightly coloured or in flood as this is the time that worms will be washed into the river with the rain. set up your rod with about 4 BB split shot and a size 6 or larger hook. bait as many redworms on the hook as possible or 2 large lob worms. cast above a likely lie and feel for any tugs on the line with your fingers as the worm/s drift downstream. give a salmon plenty of time to move off with the bait or you will not get a proper hook-hold.     if youre rifle is running at 20ftib then it and it alone will be capable of humanely killing a rabbit at 50 yards but you need to shoot at the distance that you are comfortable with. i would say a general zeroing distance would be 30 yards but if you cannot achieve consistent accuracy at that distance then zero it at a distance that you can achieve consistent accuracy.

    all my kills apart from rabbits and woodys and rats and squizzers i shoot at a zoo (sorry i didnt do a posty up on that but i didnt have the camera with me so i didnt think it would be any good (i can still do a post up if you want) ) have been in my garden

    my see if i can bag a few woodys which are eating the animal feed at a zoo tommorow. i am guna be shooting the woodys in the wallaby pen (they have a walk-in area where you can feed the wallabies and the muntjac there) which will make shooting intresting! will post up tommorow if i get any.
