i used to have a rottie cross shepherd was a grand dog, sadly when myself and husband parted ways he played a very nasty card that could have resulted in the dog being destroyed, so i had to re home her to my friend, i choice i had little choice in but i do regret parting with that dog, i had began to work her and she's come on in leaps and bounds since leaving me very nice rottie boy there,

but then would any of us be allowed to keep a lurcher?? i really doubt it in the old days you'd have to pay x amount for a dog which isn't fair as we wouldn't want a class diversion,, however the license idea is one i agree with as long as it was done fairly and equaly, i would say that you'd need to pass a test with a pass mark before you can own a dog, do a course on canine behaviour and their diet needs etc, maybe do some experience at a dog rescue kennels - help the kennels and learn about dog body language as well as breeds, grooming needs etc as long as you had a knowledge on d -

its like the pair of rotties that killed a ten month old baby in london, the media were so fast to blame the breed, yet they left out SO many details! i knew the pub where it happened, and what the media didn't explain was the dogs were guard dogs who were made to live on the flat roof of this pub, there was an estate and a path that was level at one side to the dogs, the dogs used to spend their time circling that roof all day, never walked, fed scraps, locol kids coming home from school would rub a stick along the railings bang bang bang, every day! drunken people would shout and swear at th -

i have always said that if your going to look at dogs though type rather then temperment, as a whole the only breed i wouldn't trust is a goldern retriever, so many people look through a dog book as if its argos deciding on which dog, they come across the cute andrex puppy that stated "good mannered family dog" so they get the pup expecting it to be like a ready made meal! and when the dog turns into a fruit cake due to lack of training they then wonder why! at least when a responsible person gets a staffie or dobie etc that they know though this breed is stunning it will need time and trai -
told you its was the most femine topic i commented on!! clearly i'm not a girlie girl lol xxx

Acid (lemon) + a base (bleach) = Chlorine gas! Extremely poisonous & explosive! Be very careful what you mix with bleach, especially in a confined space such as a shed. oh shit!!! i did not know that!

he's stunning hope he does you proud!!

this sort of person not only doesn't deserve to breed dogs but be around dogs full stop, half a pigs head a week, not cleaning their bedding, no worming, guessing no fleaing . . its an absolutly disgrace the dam must be in bad condition also, she'll be lacking nutrients and grieving for her pups, what a nasty situation!!

very nice write up migs !!! i have a few when i lived in london with me dad we had garden of 150 sq foot, which had very tall hedgegrow on the sides and the bottom third was overgrown,, well we had a vixen that had an earth there, who in time had several litters of cubs while we were there, the vixen was near tame, she'd come in the house if we leave the door open, once we forgot to close the door before going to bed and she was curled up on me dads chair like a dog! the cubs were gass in their own right, we watched them play like pups with footballs and they'd climb all over the garden fu

mop bucket, two mugs of bleach, a decent squirt of fairy, two tabs or 3/4 mug of washing powder boil the kettle and add two kettle fills to the bucket, if theres some really difficult bits to shift microwave a lemon for 20 secs and add that to the mixture . . use a scrubbing brush and don't make the surface too damp or you'll damadge the wood,, make sure you dry the moisture before you leave it as it will pick up the dirt also frankly if that wont shift it i don't know what will, all the best Annemarie this is probably the most feminine thing i've said for a long while!!!

do you think i should or not ?

think of it this way, if the pup goes to rescue it will find a grand home fast! pups fly out of rescues and they wont let their dogs go to anybody -
disinfectant mixed with non bio and fairy will shift anything mate

NO, you were struggling with first pup a couple weeks ago and wanted to flog it. they will drive you mad together, wait a year and get your first one trained. up to you but will be hard work sorry leanne but i agree, you've been struggling with your own pup from the start, once your dog pup hits adolesense you'll have work on your hands, two pups together are twice the work, get your self and bailey spot on and plenty of time together before even wondering about another pup, leave it a few years, your friend will have to re home her pup responsibly rather then shifting it onto you -
you have a fawn dog that looks very much like my bitch, whats its breeding mate, and nice photos and dogs by the way,, all the best Annemarie xxx

like the look of the ferret in your pic jasper xx

absolutly what i would say,, leave her time to get work under her belt and to prove herself, no point her missing a season when she's not even in her prime yet as you'll lose a season or part a season when you breed her,, personally i'l be breeding my bitch when she's just finished her last season - due to leg injury will probably be in the next two or three years
-
thank you for the comments everyone, BRING ON THE SEASON!! xxx
