as above,, i feed my dogs on raw meat and to be honest its been a bit tricky this summer more so then normally,, the butchers always seemed to be out of stock, i have had the idea of buying cheaply directly and plus surely i'd be able to pick up all sorts of goodies for the ferrets also,, only propblem is i can't seem to find any,, any ideas everyone? i live in suffolk england, can travel a limited distance, if any one knows any details please help all the very best and thanks for reading Annemarie xx

completly agree with you mate, i have never sold a dog before but i am certain that should the worse happen, friends would be offering straight away, and the dog would be given away to a friend whom i was sure would be a good home,, if you take on a dog (paid for or not) you've taken on the responsibilty for that dogs life, his well being, health and care

wow that just made me feel really little!!!

i hand reared a ferret kit this breeding season,, spent over a hundred and fifty on the critter he lived ans was happy and healthy but i wanted to only keep a couple of jills so i gave him away,,, bloody typical the only male out the litter was the one i bonded to the most!!

melt kerrygold irish butter in a bread tin, once butter is melted add diced bunny, black pepper, garlic and onion, mushrooms, and cover over wuith tin foil, cook slowly, along with crispy roast potatoes and some green cabbage, use the meat juices along with garlic, onions and mushrooms to make gravy,, sit back and love every minute mmmmmmm

i'd keep the collor unless it was just a cheap nylan one,, i keep my gand in leather sighthound collors, and i'm fond of them to be honest

have fed it to the ferrets,, it was getting weaker so i broke its neck and me lil stinkers are very happy!! i'm still nervous about telling the kids though . . my fault was a jay

well as stated above,,, this afternoon the local kids knocked on me door loudly and urgently,,i was dressed up ready to go out for dinner,, and was told that they wanted my help with an injured bird,, i said i'd go and have a look expecting a blackbird or woodie,, turns out it was an injured bluejay!! had been attacked by a cat with a wound on its neck,, few lost feathers and a bit shook up to say the least,, in all fairness the kids shouting about didn't help,, so i took him home,, wearing a posh skirt and heels carrying an injured bird - felt a bit over dressed!! have cleaned the wound with

i don't know either of you personally but have had a couple of family members suffer strokes of veried strengths,, i wish you all the best in your recovery and i'm pleased to hear your showing good signs, keep it up and hold your head up high,, i always say the hardest part is coping with the bordom of bloody hospitals but it wont be long mate til your out on the feild!! printing off some stuff from the forum is a good idea, also do the earth dog running dog mag and the countrymans weekly will help, any books by brian plumber etc that you haven't read for a while,,,, think of it this way : by

i wouldn't change your sig because of this and i can see where your coming from and agree that its sad what this world is becoming BUT as a mother i can understand her point of veiw, no mum wants her child meeting strangers of the net, i'm nervous about meeting people at my age,, i doubt your pic and profile had anything to do with it, just that while she was worrying the kid probably got frustrated with mum saying no and she had to come up with a reason...its not that she's sick in her head, more that she's being protective over her child,, in regards to the sig and pic idea for your daug

chilli salsa sauce,, prawns, onions, olives, pepperoni, garlic, chilli peppers,spicy sausage, and lots of cheese!! i like a spice hit!! can't go lamping after this though . . bunnys smell ya from miles away!!!
