Annemarie x x x Dear (insert MP's name here) Please could I bring to your attention the general public's disapproval with the Hunting ACT 2004, this law is not fair and is un-enforceable. Not all Hunters wear red jackets and Ride to Hounds, th

  4. tis beautiful though i do agree with simo there was a hell of a lot of hunt followers who done the march, my local one sent a few coach loads to london . . i don't wish to upset any of our own one thing that concerns me is i haven't had much support in this idea of fighting for our hunting Annemaire xxx

  7. i am shocked that such a pointless topic has continued for this many pages, end of the day W.E.S.I.E you have yet shut us up with a photo of your dog, so us silly girls can be proved wrong in what we're saying, so clearly your terrier was beaten by a terrier led by a woman and your in desperate need of a hobby!

  9. what about hunting our own areas and sending you the money to go to cancer aid . . my dad died of cancer aged 58 and i still do what i can for cancer charities,, hiking, running, etc but would love to do something i class as an enjoyment in aid of cancer Annemarie xxx
  10. sound like a stunning dog there mate!! ignore the idiots on here,, slagging you off for a cross breed when the next person is charging 600 for a lurcher - which is itself a cross!! end of the day a dog is a dog, any breed can be good with kids and any dog can be bad with kids . . each dog is different and ALL need to be socialized and well cared for, i would be interested in this type of dog but not yet as i am unable to drive and three dogs on the trains are a handful let alone four!! all the very best with the sale mate and to be frank 300 is very reasonable! these pups would have eaten l
  11. WOW!! aww thats so stunning! the neighbours may grumble though! tell ye what be worth to see the look on their face bringing the "cat" for a mooch thanks for showing us that mate Annemarie xxx
  12. thats a great idea mate!! contact one of the mods and find out what they say . . . good luck in regards to the owner of the dogs i do really hope you get them back mate!!!!
  13. personally i wouldn't touch it, italian greyhounds are very small little dogs and light framed, whippets can be big boned working type or the lighter racing type, sounds like you'd have a very light dog here to be honest . . it may turn out to be a grand little dog and prove me wrong but i'd say to go for a breed thats already proven . what typeof work do you want the dog to do? if you want a rabbiting dog, whippet x greyhound would be grand hope this helps mate Annemarie xxx
  14. A FEW MORE!! i can't help it i'm sorry! keep seeing photos i love of the lil stinkers that il do Annemarie xxx

  16. i think the CA concerntrated on fox hunting as this is what the anti's were mainly against . . i agree that they could have done more to help the lurcher world and tis a shame they didn't but all the more reason to start fighting back now by contacting our local MP's and explaining how the hunting act 2003 has failed i have a topic on this "how to fight the hunting act, f*ck the ban - correctly" please read this topic and feel free to add any suggestions . . all the very best Annemarie xxx
  17. the electric fence is a good idea though pricey but would also work with the odd fox, theives etc if you only want to prevent the one can, i'd say do i water sprinkler sysem close to the hens and have heard sprinkling black pepper and garlic along the fence boundry should help prevent said cat even coming in your garden in the first place i haven't heard of a cat taking hens but i understand you concern also avoid listening to some comments on here that could land you with a whole heap of trouble!! hope this helps Annemarie xxx
  18. exactly, look at how many girlies are on here, i was surprised myself and i've been into working lurchers or racing greyhounds for years, like i say this year was the first lurcher show i have ever been to, i enjoyed seeing all the dogs and admittly fell in love with a few dogs it was good to see women with their dogs and some may be working more then others but thats what makes it varied and tis up to the judge to decide. tis only meant to be a giggle end of the day and i do think theres a tad of an over reaction going on
  19. I’m used to them now I think I’m turning into a fecking vampire. lol know that feeling lol i seem to be in a routine of going to bed at four ish and waking at half eight at the latest! will catch me up soon i'm sure my excuse is i've always liked nights! and during night hours are the best time to exercise the dogs with no public around, and i don't mean lamping even just a good strech of the legs is fantastic night time,, everything is xxx
  20. good for you mate, may this be the first of many!! Annemarie x
  21. w.e.s.i.e i agree that there are pet dogs being shown in a working dog shows but i disagree that its just women, there are also some people who take shows WAY too seriously and to be frank i rekon your one of them! the shows are a social thing by all means enter your dog and be proud when your placed but don't start bitching because you lost and i would certainly not recommend making statements on here like you have done already all because your dog was beaten by a bow legged, chalk covered terrier shown by a woman!! loosen up, enjoy the shows for the social gatherings there meant to be and le
