  1. Those where the days eh! when we both had more time? Recently at a wedding I did my best mans speech and during it mentioned how he has always had good luck and brought up the time I took him lure fishing for his first time. I showed him how to set his rod up and tie his lure on etc and when I turned round to set my own up he shouted im in! I thaught after just one cast he was snagged but after turning round to look he was into one of the biggest canal pike I have ever seen, on his first cast. After a battle walking up and down the canal with it we guessed near 20 lbs. As a surprise fo

  3. If you download an app called geek shopping and search fishing lures there's lots of mega cheap lures - admittedly most are pants but there's some real good mega cheap lures. There maybe a online geek shopping website too. Some are close to your faveroute patterns but they take a few weeks to arrive.
  4. Tom, I had an 11lber at dockfield on a red and white big S Nice catch! After not fishing there a few years I had a few hours wandering the Rodley area on a spur of the moment fishing trip with a big s and I caught nothing - no follows either. People walking past said it's been really poor over the last couple of years and not worth even bothering?! I dunno where all the pike have gone as catching 5 jacks on an afternoon used to be fairly normal.
  5. Any more info on this? Iv had a look on google but cant find anything out. cheers.
  6. Big s for me too as that lure caught my 18 lbs lure caught PB pike on one in perch pattern, caught from the canal at Rodley it was lurking under the swing bridge. had many fish on this pattern and even perch smaller than the lure

  13. it would be interesting to see what fish and wildlife is in it. i remember getting talking to an elderly chap a few years ago telling me that perch are the first fish to colonise waterways as their eggs survive better been carried by water birds than other fish species i don't know how true this is tho.
  14. I sold my falcon and then bought a hw100 and to be honest I think i enjoyed using the falcon more, and also I was less bothered about scratching it!
  15. Its in the post A cheap Chinese bipod is still pretty good, they attach to the stud with 2 pins either side and when you tighten the thumb screw they close up into the stud and then tighten against your stock. your sling then attaches to the bipod with QD swivels. iv got a spare pair of uncle mikes QD swivels so iv popped them into the envelope aswell for you. sometimes the hole that the uncle mike swivel goes through on the bipod is a bit too small but its only a 2 minute job to open them up slightly with a drill bit. when you drill the rear stud screw stick a bit of electri
  16. Well J Darcy "my compliments" with your shooting, including the ducks and geese. I was "Shouted at" for just mentioning that i fancied "pitting my wits/ fieldcraft" after night flight duck with an air rifle and was called "UNSPORTING" ! I wonder if you get the same flack as i did eh ? " i`m waiting" ? Well if you remember I was one of the contributers, what I said was it would probably considered unsporting, by most landowners,I did however qualify what I said, by admitting to having done it myself
  17. nice old pics there J Darcy - i sold my fn19 a few months ago and regretted it. i fired one last week and the ping noise brought back some memories!

  19. If you need a QD stud for your hw100 like the one in your pics that screws into the existing stock bolt hole I have one spare. i bought it for my hw100 but I have a cs700 stock on mine and the stud isn't compatable with that stock. pm me your address and ill post it to you FOC.
  20. If I was to buy another I would look at the ones that email or message you the pictures.

  22. I have bushnel model 119466 and its great. I got it to video foxes visiting my garden too and it was very interesting. last year we had a dog and vixen with 2 cubs. we watched the cubs grow up and go and then the vixen was run over and now we only have the dog visit. im looking forwards to seeing if we get another fox family this year. Their behaviour was interesting one was really playful, one really timid (the one that got run over) and the dog fox didn't give a dam and sometimes even looked through living room window sometimes. go for it you will enjoy it!
  23. I seen 2 hedgehogs in the last week too
