  2. When my Jill has her kits you can have a couple I'm in Leeds.
  3. Thanks for the comments guys! I know it won't be great, iv got a decent airgun for proper shooting but thaught I'd give one a go due to it's small size. If anything it will be handy for despatching rats in cage traps or the odd rat visiting the bird table. I like the look of them too, I know it's in a different league to an HW but will be nice to have a play with.
  4. Just dared stray from an old HW, not shot it yet but will be interesting to see what a newer springer shoots like. Go safe with a old hw or Charlie callers offering looks a bit good too!!!
  5. Did I heck lol £475 posted. Bargain for someone - it was just not getting used as Allways use the excalibure. Hopefully gone somewhere where it will get some use now.
  6. Me too, Shame I'm at work! Will save it for Friday night and watch with a beer.
  7. new guy martin speed f1 special on tonight at 9 onCH4
  8. Im sure they will iv owned them all over the years but for some reason im fancying a new version lightening to play with, im liking the look of them and the light weight compactness. Iv just had a gun clear out of ones I dont use often and now im starting to buy more the grass is never greener on the other side! and seem to just stick to the same 2 guns . I was told to go for the Birmingham manufactured guns as opposed to imported as quality control is tighter here but I have lost faith in bsa break barrels. It's a shame because I do love the lightening, hance why I've owned so many over

  12. Hi guys I'm looking for a compact sub 12 springer to keep handy. I'm liking the look of the lightening xl and wondered if anyone here has used one and what did they think of it? Iv owned a spring version years ago but not the newer gas ram version. Any info/opinions appreciated!
  13. They are only winding you up! everyones has been there! practice on targets and then go door knocking. It sounds daunting but after a few doors you get into a flow - a tenner of fuel in your car and a bit of effort will find you somewhere hopefully. Good luck and keep at it you will be rewarded. oh and if you are a bit surprised by some farmers attitude towards you take it on the chin and say thanks for your time and leave a card. not all of them are arsey
  14. Link above has an abus welded to the inside and left hand seed so hard to get to. Covers underneath too. Bloody heavy but best iv seen and stopped 2 break ins.

  19. Would be a dream come true to catch one - Good luck in your quest to catch it!
  20. Exactly. I'm not into race equality or anything or wanting to apply for the job, but it came up on the screen and I allways thaught that if a job was advertised for white folk in this day and age would cause an uproar? I thaught it was just me that was a bit surprised.
