  1. Bit of a learning curve with them but they're great if you stick with it.
  2. Excellent. Pellet choice can be limited.
  3. We certainly do.. The Mrs is still trying to work it out after 2 years Same here... Only 16 years though... Still plenty of time!
  4. I concede the point about influence. Maybe it's possible but it's certainly beyond my remit. I applaud anyone that can but it's honestly beyond me. Maybe too much of the negative exposure. Maybe more to do with playing Papa Bear, for my three, and wanting to deal with my family first and foremost. Maybe a bit of both. I had to do it the harder way. I grafted my way out. Not trying to claim special status, or anything, as I know many do but my fault is that I measure myself by my dad's work ethic and I have a hard time with people who won't do it for themselves. I stress won't as opposed to
  5. Same here. It'll cook on any form of heat. Electric, gas, even the coals when we're out camping. Look after them and you'll never need another.
  6. Apologies for the delay in the reply. Duty calls, unfortunately! As I said in the post, not being c**ts to each other is just for starters. It's the alpha, not the omega but if we truly didn't covet our neighbours wife, car, telly, etc, to the point where we're seeing how much of his shit we could take we would truly be on the road to a community once more. My strategy was checking up on the older folks that lived near me. Checking to make sure they had heat, power, and that someone hadn't stolen their gear. Doing a few odd jobs around the house, and making sure that they didn't live
  7. Gnash. I moved away. I broke the cycle. I worked hard and got the f**k out. I don't have apathy for the situation, as I refused to be dragged into it. I wasn't having my kids growing up to be plastic gangsters, and I've had enough of my hard earned shit destroyed by people who won't work for themselves. I've always tried to give as much as I can, to help my neighbours, but community is dying. It's been long dead in some areas. You know which ones are near you, as do I near me. I haven't forgotten my journey. It's been an arduous one but I took it to protect those I love from those that wan
  8. Define camo? I've ferreted a few places wearing hi viz and overalls. Fit right in and everyone though we were landscaping! Camo is about blending in with your surroundings?
  9. Do you trust your government?
  10. The bad news is that they're never going to stop sending it. Unless we change those who manage it. Vote UKIP
  11. Even if they use the information to deny you medical treatment sometime in the future? We'll have to disagree on the privacy. My right to privacy is just that.
  12. Grew up on one. Know enough friends and relatives on a few to make it hard to miss them. Fact is they talk the talk. They complain about it but things like voting, and going to work, are too much hassle for these upstanding citizens. I don't doubt that are people actively involved in this. But I do know that there are many many more that won't get any further than General Talk on whichever forum they want to complain about in. I don't doubt anyone's commitment to whatever cause it is... But if you're actively engaged then you're still a minority for a foreseeable future, IMHO.
  13. You're not bothered about your right to privacy?
  14. Gnash. Maybe I'm cynical... I don't doubt what you see and here but I see and hear a lot of complaining about it, too... but that's just it. Talk
  15. Gnash. It's the apathy... The total lack of fucks given. Yelling at a few foreigners isn't change... infact it's now a hate crime. Unless people are going to be engaged with anything other than Big Brother 6901 then it's all for nothing. There will be no blood in the streets, only broken flat screens looted from Rumbelows.
  16. A lot of incidents go un/under reported because it simply isn't news anymore. Same way 'Cat Has Arse' doesn't sell newspapers. If there were enough journos to report the local news the papers would look like a telephone book. 20 years ago outrage would get national headlines. Now it's so commonplace it's not worth the ink. I mean seriously, how many people would have to be beheaded in the street before the British public see enough outrage to act on it? To demand change? How many cities burned by rioting? It's clearly more than one, up to now... A lot of talk and no action... T
  17. Or you could say Billy is like Man United fans. They get away with everything for 40 odd years and then cry foul when it all goes tits up!
  18. I would. Whether she consented earlier in the night, or not, she didn't consent to 4 of them? Or did she? If she can't remember it then it's unlikely. If she consented while intoxicated these dirty b*****ds sure as hell took advantage of her inpaired judgement. If she did consent, earlier, she's allowed to rescind the invitation. Wherever and whenever she pleases. Tomo points out the morality of it. I agree totally. It's a f****d up situation and these scumbags took full advantage of it. The sad thing is it would be laughed out of court. That's a crime too.
  19. You're okay with them selling them to 3rd parties?
  20. We know it's already being harvested and used. Especially marketing companies. Doesn't necessarily make it right, or even ethical. It may be great for research but it's bad for privacy. Our medical procedures aren't for the mulling by a third party.
  21. You mean voters British subjects? We're the ones supposed to be running the show. They're the ones who are supposed to work for us. All this talk of civil war, blood in the streets, etc, etc is just bullshit rhetoric. People are too busy at work making ends meet, or too busy to work, either way we get the government we deserve.
  22. Yeah but will they take a blind bit of notice?
