    UKIP are currently untested. Only time will tell whether they're any better/worse than the current shower of shite, in and around Westminster. If they get elected they've got 4 years to prove that they're the change we so badly need. Or whether to demonstrate that they're another cog in the machine. Whatever happens we get the government we deserve. Might be time to ship out and watch it burn from a distance.

    Personally I think we're reading too much into it. I need to hunt, the same way I need to breathe. It's like trying to argue the morality of why the sun rises and sets. Or the ethics of the moon going around the earth. It doesn't need to. But it sure as hell is going to do it anyway!

    I used to have MP3's of songbird calls. That was pretty good for twitching... I'm sure if you've got the volume you could rig something similar for game.

    Theoretically the plod could ask for site information by going through the correct legal channels. Practically... All the dumb fucks on here that post all their information, regardless, stop the plod from having to go through legal channels. As has been said, for the last 10 years on this site alone.     Apathy plays a huge part. We may be civilised as a nation, but are we in decline? If British subjects were allowed to defend themselves, and others, would we see much of the violence that is now endemic in the UK? Imagine if Fusilier Rigby had been armed. Or others nearby in a position to intervene?

    I fully understand that, BH, and agree. The thing is we have a right to defend ourselves, and that isn't something that a government should be able to control.
