  1. It does matter what the form of government is. The very reason you and I have a platform to argue is because we have progressed from Europe a long time ago. I have no issue with culture and tradition, it helps define us, but we can't live in the past and we can't take a step back down memory lane just because nostalgia tells us that everything was reasonable back then. It wasn't.
  2. Trump's looking for the Republican nomination... The Republican party are now coming out and distancing themselves, from his nonsense, and THAT is saying something based on their previous nonsense!
  3. I'm sure there are enough of you that think state enforced repatriation is a really great idea but you're talking about Britain, in 2015. It isn't going to happen. You'll be fighting your fellow countrymen, on your own streets. The resulting civil conflict will do more to harm the nation's health, strength, and prosperity than you'd know how to repair. Essentially you'd turn the place into a tinpot dictatorship and you won't manage it without a fight either.
  4. The only Americans he's making sense to are the ones that are still pissed at not being able to own black people, any more.
  5. I work in Las Vegas. If you want to play in casinos with better odds stay away from the strip and you'll hang onto your bankroll much longer. Vegas is designed to fleece tourists, which it does 24/7/365. Smaller casinos that can't compete with the big tourist locations offer better deals/odds to get people away from the strip. If you can get out of LV completely a lot of the smaller towns are like old Vegas, back in the 50's. If you're looking at staying and gambling a lot see if the casino offers a perks card. It's not based on your bankroll but on the amount of time you spend gambling. F
  6. Finally we get around to it! Nationalism doesn't work... Get over it.
  7. Thanks, Mackem. Did a little digging, this side of the Atlantic, and Trump did indeed quote that figure (BBC Link Here.) However the poll was conducted for the neoconservative group Center For Security policy, and cites it's head honcho Frank Gaffney, a leading conspiracy theorist. Frank's other claims include Saddam Hussein being involved in the attacks on the World Trade Centre and the Oklahoma city bombings. A senior Democratic party advisor was a secret member of the Muslim Brotherhood. A senior Republican party strategist was also a secret member of the Muslim Brotherhood. That th
  8. "26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. 27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple." Luke 14:26-27
  9. Fish & Game, and the Parks Dept. Truly are examples of how I think people should manage natural resources. The work they do is excellent in my opinion. Next season I'm looking at putting in for the bow-hunt. I have an experiment in the pipe-line and I hope to use this forums blogging feature to document it, but I also have to secure the necessary permits. Hopefully it will be happening, and I hope I have the skills to document it for others!
  10. They're cagey around bobcats because they also have lynx and they're far more regulated by Fish & Game... Coyote's have bounties in a lot of states. Ours is $50 and you have to hand in the scalp, with both ears, and the lower jaw. If you're good it can be a lucrative income as there aren't any quotas. Essentially it's pest Vs game animal.
  11. Was he the last of the the original cast?
  12. I've run out of likes for the day so I'll just say that we get the government we deserve!
  13. I already did... We're hiring, for the Las Vegas branch, if you're interested!
  14. Can I ask why no one is pushing for electoral reform? I don't think anyone would disagree that whether you're right, or wrong, you're playing a rigged game. Modern political parties aren't about what's right, and what's wrong. They're about who wins, and who loses. THAT should be the real target in an informed democracy.
  15. Hope so. Swearing to tell the truth on a book of lies... I've got two requests. First was a joke. I wanted my ashes to be mixed in with fireworks so they can set me off in a private service. You can actually request that over here! Second was more serious. I wanted my remains to be buried and a tree planted on my grave. That way my nutrients could feed the tree so it can grow, replenishing the cycle of life. If enough people did that we could have forests instead of cemeteries. Life continues. Not me. Not that I mind that people do. Neems is correct. Christianity d
  16. Sounds a lot like performance enhancing drugs in sport. It'll raise the bar for game tallys but it doesn't replace time served skill and hard work. Look at Lance Armstrong. He's been vilified for cheating but it still doesn't change the fact that he was a tremendous althlete regardless. Either way technology is here to stay. If you want to keep it raw don't use it.
  17. Like I said Gnash, it was quoted out of context but jumping on the bandwagon, and playing to people's emotions, with any kind of information is a fallacy which is incredibly dangerous. It plays to misinformation and is very anti-thesis of personal rectitude. We're all guilty of it and if we were able to successfully remove it the GT forum would have very few posts. Dictionary please!! Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary
  18. I do to, WILF, but hate crimes are indeed here to stay. Hate crimes exist because of the of the over correction of crimes against minority groups. They stacked up until the pressure came to fix the balance, and biases came along during the enforcement process. The hate crime is the result of that overcompensation and poor drafting, not to mention the addition of quotas to enforcement. Their laws came to pass, however, because certain groups of individuals decided to physically attack certain other groups. That cannot be right, wouldn't you agree? Opinion is fine, providing that opinion
  19. Sorry for the delay gents, real life kinda got in the way there for a few days... Okay so now we're getting into the crux of it. The nation isn't the people because you've already segregated the concept based on culture, language and ethnicity. Essentially what you're saying is that if a person does not satisfy the cultural, lingual, and ethnic part of the equation then they cannot be part of the nation? If so then what safeguards does this system implement to safeguard these people? Are they entitled to any rights at all? Limited rights? Or none? I agree that only the most qualified

  21. Im inclined to agree.....i detest all these public appeals like its some kind of half arsed bounty hunter reward from the 1880,s.....even Crimewatch annoys me begging the public to do the police,s job for them !.....police/authorities either need to commit to giving people free reign on delivering street justice......or not show us their faces and do the job themself........playing on the publics emotions is a dangerous game for both offender and detainer. I'm going to be a complete c**t here and rip these two quotes out of context... Not a pop at either poster, in any shape or form, but
  22. Well is it, or isn't it? A nation comprises of all citizens, in your definition? I simply disagree that the nation's interests come before everything else. Are rights gifted by the government nation in this example? If any person harmonises with the nation, do they qualify as a national? Are they entitled to the rights and protection of the nation? Rights are not damaging activities. They're intrinsic to freedom. So I ask again what safeguards would you implement to protect citizens that disagree? Most people that identify with your cultural, and ethnic, requirements will not
  23. Okay but why should the rights of the nation supercede it's citizens? What do you believe consists of a 'fair degree of freedom' and what safeguards would be implemented to protect individuals that disagree with a fascist, or nationalist, government?
  24. did we not send something to another planet? took years to get there and then crashed landed in a shaded from the Sun area and could only send limited signals back?thats Technology for you LOL Y.I.S Leeview But that was in our own solar system, the technology required to reach the nearest star to us would be mind blowing. we went from a 26 mtr flight in 1903 to sending craft to other planets inside 100 yrs, what about a civilisation a million yrs more advanced than us????? My point is if they had the technology to get here they wouldn't have equipment that crashes or breaks down. I
