  1. Firstly, I'll believe it when I see it. Secondly, will it make a shit of difference to anyone on here whether they repeal it? I don't know anyone that's changed a shit. I love the way we're suddenly expected to have a little cry because the Tories look our way and wink...
  2. Breeding animals that are too closely related too. Lowers intelligence and raises the likelihood of behavioural and physical problems as well. Less genetic diversity in the breed.
  3. Another debate on hunting... How much will it cost this time?
  4. I know, mate, but what a shitty way to go. Doesn't make it right, and more of these knobheads churning out litters for profit... Can't see it getting any better.
  5. SBT tied to a bag of cement and thrown in the canal
  6. The fresh carcass has gone. Scavenged by everything else, by the looks of it. There is another older one but I doubt anyone would want to see a picture of that! Found a load of dead hares, too, that have been shot and dumped. The good news is that it appears last year's mating ospreys have returned to their nest site.
  7. Depends on the size of the cat. Here they can hit 100kg for the males and they'll eat a deer sized animal every two weeks, and feed on anything up to that size. They rarely scavenge and generally eat what they've hunted and killed. I saw a stripped out bobcat carcass, last night, while I was out with the dogs. It looks like it's been killed, and partially consumed by another cat. If it's still there when I walk the dogs, later, I'll snag a picture.
  8. Today it's two different games. We see right and wrong. They see win and lose.
  9. Oh I agree with what you're saying about spreading ideas but you're spreading them to a like minded audience. That's how echo chambers work. You're not going to convince anyone they're wrong if you're posting memes and articles that they already agree with. You're preaching to the choir. Trump was elected as a protest vote. If you think online activism has more to do with his popularity than the rural hatred for Hilary, then you've been reading too much mainstream media! (see what I did there?)
  10. The most effective activism, short of armed revolution, is actually turning up and casting a vote at the polls. Social media, memes, MSM, alternative media, smashing shit up, all serve as an entertainment for the most of it. The actual result of the election shows exactly who supports who, and who couldn't be bothered engaging in the process. Can't argue with that, in the UK. It's a 3 horse race at the most, but I vote with who I feel best represents me. So should everyone. THL, like all social media is, for the most, an echo chamber of preconceived bias. We don't come on here
  11. I'm not sneering Nik. Not my intention. The Dupont comment was too good to miss. I'm not French. I don't live in France. What happens in France is none of my concern and none of my business. No one else really gave a shit either until there was a chance that Le Pen even had a chance, and even back then I said 'The Only Poll Worth A Shit Is The Election.' If you've read anything I've posted on here, over the years, you'll know that I'm a paid up libertarian. I'm pretty big on fairness but I'm very big on small government and the people being in charge of the policy, not the politicians. I j
  12. Is that so all that shit doesn't stick?
  13. Same, mate. I get questioned all the time about their significance though...
  14. Patt, Ever get the question 'What Does It Symbolise/Mean?' Like you're on some f***ing spiritual journey? Why can't people just accept that they're fun to get?
  15. Interesting thread this... Just out of curiosity, if it is a conspiracy what will come of it? If they turned round, today, and said it was an inside job and that this whole thing was a false flag/con job/whatever angle they're arguing, would it make a shit of difference? Or would someone start a thread saying it was fake news and offer an alternative conspiracy that it was a terrorist plot to strike fear into the hearts of the west? You can offer all of the evidence. All of the conspiracy. All of the time but while you'll educate the masses it won't make a difference to the
  16. I love the way they claim some awakening. Like you said they've been privy to some 'secret information.' Like everyone else... They have an internet connection and a lot of time to spend analysing shite!
  17. Even if you can't get the right ones in the job, maybe stop the wrong ones getting in also?
  18. One of the issues that really pisses me off is parliamentary boozing. If tax money is going in the right places, I'll play with oversight in place, but these people are stinging us left right and centre and we're just bleating along. It didn't take much research to find how much money we pay for their bar bill. They even responded to a freedom of information inquiry, in 2011. Now I know that some of these articles aren't exactly new but are we deluded enough to think that they've suddenly purged public sector waste? I doubt it, but they think they're doing you a favour when they a
  19. Gnash said that every man has his price. Can't argue with that, but for some of us it isn't £ notes or $ bills. I posted earlier that if you don't like your situation, change your situation. When I first got married I was very money motivated. Worked all the hours I could and made some decent coin along the way. When I found out I was going to be a dad I doubled down and worked more so that she didn't have to. When my eldest was born I worked myself a stomach ulcer spending the day working doubles and sleeping at the hospital... This carried on until my eldest turned 5. I looked at all
  20. It hasn't. It has to go through the senate. It passed 217-213, which isn't a great start, and it's future is far from certain. Here's a breakdown of the major changes that a repeal of the ACA would bring. The interesting one is $592bn tax cut to corporations who would no longer have to pay in. Real champion of the people is Donnie.
  21. Team D has just scrapped the rule for small business retirement plans and is set to relax rules on political activism of church groups, without threatening their tax exempt status.
  22. Use CCleaner too... Periodically remove the shite from your system. It's like a colonic for your PC. Malware Bytes too...
  23. You really need to stick the trail cam footage up! Another one I'd recommend is the Memoirs of 101st Chairborne Division. Especially the colouring in section, and the mazes.
