I have honeysuckle growing next to my house. It's usually full of hummers when they flower. They're amazing to watch and watching dogfight for territory is aerobatics at it's finest! They can also fly backwards! I miss seeing the kites but appreciate the closeness. Here I have ospreys (two are nesting in the same spot as last year,) turkey vultures, golden eagles, red-tailed hawks... Better than anything on the telly.

I'm not suggesting that everyone picking up a rifle in the service of her majesty is juicing but I'm sure you can accept that anyone who takes PED's seriously has a system of avoidance, in place, when it comes to CDT. You'll also be aware that most substances have a legitimate medical use, and the PED effect is often a side-effect as opposed to a primary usage. There are professional athletes that have legitimate medical prescriptions for alleged ailments that are completely exempt when it comes to medical testing. The military and amphetamines have a long history. The Yanks have been using them for years. Fighter pilots using amphetamines is the most common but a recent study by the Mountain Tactical Institute reported that half of respondents admitted to using them. A recent freedom of information request, regarding the British military suggests that there has been a five fold increase in the number of failed tests for PED's, specifically steroids. A certain officer seems to condone it. I'm sure there is plenty of anecdotal stuff too. I know quite a few. personally!

How is it cheating if your governing body doesn't class them as banned substances? WSM doesn't have the same testing policy as the IOC. I also noticed that no one commented on PED's in the military. They're cheating. They're using banned substances. Why the double standard? Young kids should be encouraged to stay away but if there is money on the table it's the difference between a payday and a wannabe. That's where professional sports are in 2017. Like it or not it's never going away and no crack down or wagging of the finger is going to change that.

One of the things I liked about Trump was that he was supposed to be bringing private sector trouble shooters in to look at the costs of the public sector. If he sticks to that mandate he'll be a success because he'll trim the fat to the point where the government looks like Arnie in Pumping Iron. After the last economic snafu the Chinese also own a fuckton of the US debt. It's not all a one way street. I personally don't think there is a serious threat. The Kim dynasty has been contained for nearly 65 years. They're starving to death and live in bigger echo chamber than the General Talk forum.
