    I"m running two pups on at the moment and it can be hard work as the training etc takes twice as long as you need to do everything twice ie retrieve training you spend time with one pup then you"ve got to do the same with the other etc but on the up side whilst out mooching they seem to compete with one another looking for bunnies and working around cover they"ve taken one another on Hard work at times but the season will tell

    Quite recently I was out walking with the mrs and dogs (and we where just out for a walk) with the dogs running free in an area that you don"t often see hares when feck me up on jumps, well I"m not being funny try telling my crew that its illegal and they can"t chase them they don"t listen to you!!!!! When I told the mrs that she was now technically breaking the law and could be arrested she just couldn"t believe it but wanted to get away from there quite sharpish

    Each to there own mate, not a bull fan myself but there are plenty of folk out there who dont like saluki crosses,collie crosses,bedlington crosses etc. You could start a thread on any of the above saying why do folk hate xxxxxx and why do they slag them off

    Well he needs o find a 3/4 bred collie greyhound then,pups should have more than enough speed for rabbits and lets face it its not always about speed for lamping bunnies

    Though I"ve run saluki bred dogs in the past I must admit I to like the wham bam dogs, probably not the longest of courses but exciting all the same

    Wouldn"t do it mate, he"s far to young and chances are he wouldn"t have a clue what to do or what its about, I have a 7 month old dog pup at the minute and currently have a bitch in season and the pup isn"t even really interested in her at all (thank goodness) Really in human terms its like expecting a 7 year old lad to father a kid!!!!!!!!!!!

    Yes generally you can see the course BUT there is plenty of game cover and crops on the fens for the hare to use as well it"s not just one vast open prairie as many seem to think and to be honest also you will see many of the match men picking their slips. I"ve seen them bypass hares looking to find one on plough for example trying to make sure as much as is possible is in favour of the dog and I suppose when often large sums of money are at stake you can"t blame them BUT for me its far more fun when its for the pleasure of it and you are really testing your dog.
