    Ask 50 different people and you"ll no doubt get 50 different answers. Type of land. type of work, ie lamping,bushing,ferreting etc. personal choice on size, coat, temperment. past experience. how can you know what the best is or what your favorite is with so many possibilities, you cant have tried/seen them all unless your either very very old or one of the many dog swappers who swap and change and run a different dog every week

    i think you are getting guaranteed and proven mixed up mate, if somone seels a dog with a guarantee and that dog does exactly what the seller say's, then he is spot on, but it will need a bit longer to prove itself, before it can be a proven dog, just my oppinion thats the way i wuld take it Best answer by far as is said a big difference between the two!!!!

    been into running dogs for thirty years and generally keep myself to myself, decided to look in on this forum yesterday and now i remember why' to many idiots full of bullshit' shooting their mouths of. Both threads i looked in on turned into slanging matches loosing sight of origanal thread (personal vendettas) Think I"ll go back to just enjoying my dogs. Im sure theres some genuine dog men on here but dont think the idiots are worth it. Tally ho,pip pip. Enjoy your dogs treat them like royalty they give thier all for you!!!!!!!!!!!

    Iv"e got a hancock bred bitch from a lurcher to lurcher mating he did. she has fantastic nose, faces any cover works on lamp and with ferrets absolutely top notch. Ive kept lurchers for thirty years and wouldn"t think twice about having another hancock don"t knock them till you"ve either had one or seen one work. Also you know that it is collie/greyhound not some hotch potch mix sold as collie/greyhound Do you really want to get involved with this petty squabble mate? It's laughable it really is. Just enjoy your lurchers and f**k everyone else. Thats what i do mate.plenty
