  1. I see Bryan gave a like to this photo. I'd say it's because it reminds him of a great ol' timer. Is he still alive Bryan ?
  2. Oh OK, I know Rusty covered a bitch or two, obviously not yours. He was of that stamp which is real nice.
  3. That couple of red terriers Liam, are they anything to Fatmans Rusty ? Rusty's gone a few years now.
  4. For the first time ever I've ran out of "likes" so nice pic Liam. Don't know if I ever had two seasoned males who'd sit together peacefully like that .
  5. well I suppose nuclear holocausts are interesting That's the good thing TT, if Mr Trump does get bored or pissed off and decides to press the big red button he has invested a lot of money in to property in Eire, so he wont point anything at us....................hopefully. Normally I have no time for tacky wacky yanks. Most are lovely people but when they go OTT I switch off. BUT, it is very interesting to follow this man and see what he comes out with next. I like him............oddly enough.
  6. Good reading and photos there, nice.
  7. Time to quit for now. If he fecks up you'll spend the Summer looking at him in a different light. Anyways, there's a chance you'll bump into cubs and pups and a vixen with cubs don't often mix and even if the vixen bolted cubs can bamboozle a pup.
  8. Tell the truth Marshman, that's you doing the Elton John impression .
  9. Dopes, they use a vegetarian terrier.
  10. But we survived, and in a lot of ways it made us.
  11. Thanks RH, we were after digging a mangy fox with Pip. She's around 8 or 9 in that photo. I dug to her Great Grand Daughter last Wednesday morning.
  12. We used to almost fight as kids to see who could mop up the fat from the frying pan with a chunk of bread,I don't think I could stomach it nowadays though. I used to help out two sheep farmers in the Wicklow mountains, father and son, and they used to have arguments over who's turn it was to clean the pan with a few slices of bread. Both were around 6' 3" and as skinny as bean poles.
  13. There's a lot of sick feckers on this site. If Gordon Ramsey was dead he wouldn't be turning in his grave, he'd be spinning.
  14. But is it there fault? as I say in my post above kids now don't have the freedom we did ..if kids tried to build a den or tree house or a rope swing now you can guarantee there would be some clipboard Nazi hell bent on health and safety saying they can't. ..it's easy to say kids of today blah blah blah but it's our generation that have taken away there freedom. You're right Kanny. The kids of today who are not computer inclined or their parents can't afford one are often the kids who end up releasing their energy on the streets. The same kids if they had the freedom we had might often go
  15. You're not joking Cragman. I once got a ferret that had been living wild on the Hill of Howth near Dublin for a while. She'd been seen several times before being caught and once caught, funny enough, was still easy to handle. But it was obvious she'd seen plenty of rats. Just think of a heavily worked terrier. And she was sharp, she was too sharp.
  16. Mole, LOL means Lots of Love, maybe you should use it more.
  17. That's the thing Cocker. A half an hour before that report they showed a hare on it's own running across a field. The reporter asked "should hare coursing be allowed back in the British countryside ?". I thought it was about about reversing the ban. I wouldn't have mentioned it otherwise.
  18. Left to right - Ruby, Dixie, Pip and Spike. 11 years ago. Sadly Dixie is the only one still with us, and she's nearly 15.
  19. Kids nowadays have had an adrenaline rush if they got to level 5 on Grand Theft Auto.
  20. After the ferrets being down some of the runs I'd say there'd have been a few rats above ground that evening. Watch the six month old puppy too, sometimes six months can be too young, even for rats.
  21. Well done. I set six snapper traps for rats in a shed one day and set the last one just inside the door. As I closed the door I heard it snap and thought I'd set it to lightly but there was a rat in it. He couldn't have been more than a foot or two from my hand when I placed it on the ground.
  22. Would you think TB and the CA were asked to appear ? I wouldn't.
  23. Mole, do you know what PMSL means ? Or LOL or LMFAO ?
  24. The way that SKY news worded that that report was coming up made it sound that it was going to be a report on fighting for a return of legal hare coursing. In truth it was a report on the usual bad image of coursing ie. large wagers and burnt out haysheds. A pity. Fair play to that man ,Shaun, for giving a short interview.
