The reason they fitted in so easy is that the irish are essentially the same as us english...have the same values the same traditions and the same understanding of basic right and wrong....in other words we have a lot in common so can live side by side with no problems.....we have nothing in common with muslims from basic principals to normal everyday living so to expect us all to live together in harmony is unrealistic and unfair...... That said i think this EDL stuff is a waste of time,why pick out one single part of society to protest against....thats nothing to do with pride in your count

Few people would dispute Robinson was the greatest middleweight of all time,can you imagine a fighter of that magnitude in todays times fighting over 200 fights !...today a 40 fight pro career is seen as a long career......Robinson fought Jake Lamotta 6 times in all out wars !! Thats right Robinson had fought in France,Germany etc before Turpin beat him in London.....That fight was massive for England,it was just after the war years and morale was low,Turpin became an instant national hero......unfortunately his death in 66 went pretty much unnoticed due to England winning the world cup which

I dont claim to know much about the internet or forums but whats the big deal about arguments anyway....its not like its important so why the obssession with policing the forum so strictly....if people want to carry on like 9 year olds then just ignore them...ultimately,people will read whats interesting and ignore whats not....so dont that kind of take care of itself.

The Lamotta/Robinson fights are historic all time great fights....Turpins first fight with Robinson was one of those freak results alongside Tyson/Douglas....most people said Turpin wouldnt see the 4th round !....It could be said Robinson took him lightly as the rematch proved. Hearns was possibly the most exciting fighter of his era,mainly due to the fact he had no punch resistance as he went up through the weights.

One of my favorite fighters ever Randy Turpin,my old dad would tell us stories about him,how he was way ahead of his time....The Leamington Licker .....with a bit more knowledge and dedication to the sport he could have been one of the greats.....shame the way he ended up.

Just to note....Alan Sugar was the only one who ever made money from owning a football club ! When folk talk about Ashley and the like they need to blame the club not the owner....nobody forced the powers that be to sell Newcastle to Ashley or Chelsea to Abramavich etc etc.....you cant sell somebody something and then moan when they do what they want with their own property ! All things considered Holyfield was a great fighter,unfortunately his weight was against him he wasnt really big enough for the heavyweight division but there was no money at cruiserweight....his best fights in my opinion were at light heavyweight....great fights he had with Dwight Qawi,Saad Muhammed etc etc that will be forgotten because he will be remembered as a heavyweight.....Very crisp and clean puncher in his day,could take a great shot and was an intelligent boxer.....career just went on a littl

Id go as far as to say Frazier was possibly the gamest heavyweight fighter who ever lived....the systematic beating he took in that fight coupled with his fighting style meant only the very gamest of characters could or would have kept walking forward in that fight.Frazier only knew one way to fight so whether things went his way or not he stuck to what he was good at most often he wore people down and it paid off,a few times it didnt.....unfortunately i dont think he was ever the most pleasant of individuals and im told he,s a bitter old man today.Still detests Ali,apparently whenever Ali,s p

While i agree with all you say about Ali.....i actually believe Tyson is quite a respectful guy towards other boxers,at least he is now his careers over !....i wouldnt say he sucked up to Ali,or Lewis for that matter he just realised he wasnt in their league when it came to boxing...Tyson is a great student of boxing and has a very good knowledge of all the old time fighters....before the height of his career.....and after his career he has been a decent guy,it was just while he was at the top or near the top he was a complete prick ! Not during his boxing career he didnt,he was a very healthy living fella and a great trainer.....what he did after his career was over,who cares.....smokey clubs he was a dj for a while i would imagine they go hand in hand.

You say that but any old prat could have got Newcastle back up into the premiership with that squad.....i think the Newcastle fans are getting too carried away with where they are in the league and the good result against Sunderland its like its carrying you along on the crest of a wave....but the reality is Hughton is not a proven premiership manager,Newcastle might be 11th but they are 4 points away from the relegation zone theres still every chance they will be in a relegation battle come march !....Love or hate him Freddie Shepherd came out today and said Ashley has done the right thing.

Not for me.....for me " a working dog " is bred to do his job......guide dogs/sniffer/rescue etc.....smart animals and every respect to them but their not working dogs as they were not bred specifically for the job......utility dogs yes,working dogs no.

Course he would have lost out,he cleared the clubs debts only to see them in the second tier of English football,having sold the club then he would have lost millions.....he stuck with it and now look what they are worth again..... Its like any buiseness its a risk and timing is everything....he,s not a fantastic buisenessman for nothing and now he,s in a great position again,he obviously had faith in his investment and fair play to him....the fact Hughton has now been outed suggests to me he,s playing with a double or quits mentality.

If your talking about the theory of breeding then you can change 1 pure breed into a completely different breed within 6 generations.....or to the point where the % of the pure breed drops below 1% which is 6 generations....but the reality of the animals in front of you is that it takes a lot more than that.....and thats from a purebred dog......if you are inbreeding off crossbred dogs you can safely double that whereby 2 littermates can be virtually genetically unrelated due to the way genes fall.
