  1. I,ll give you a tenner for any true West Ham fan you can find that wants to !....for a start we couldnt fill a 60,000 capacity ground unless we,re playing one of the big 5......or Millwall.....the Boleyn has too much history and too much togetherness to move away from it....the atmosphere sometimes is like a 12th man on the pitch and the way we,re playing at the moment,we need that ! For the toffs and the johnny come latelys they will love it....for the true lifelong West Ham fans it will be the final nail in the coffin for many.
  2. Never mind silly little Man Utd...the mighty Hammers turned a corner today, watch us start climbing the table now ....COME ON YOU IRONS ! In all seriousness....i wonder what the odds are on Man U matching what the Arsenal did and going the season unbeaten.
  3. Everyone always bangs on about Cus Damato.... its BACAUSE of Cus Damato that Tyson went the way he did personality wise....taking in a young talented lad and teaching him boxing skills is great, but taking in a lad and allowing him to run riot doing what he wants and abusing people while teaching him boxing skills is just wrong....but that said,no boxing trainer can put in what nature left out .... Tysons speed and explosive power made him look spectacular while climbing the ladder.... his internal weakness and lack of heart made him look just as spectacular falling back down the ladder !
  4. Of the names listed there i actually thought Spinks had the best chance of beating Tyson.....shows what i know .......it was THE worst era of heavyweight boxing, thats not even up for debate ! Mike Spinks was a class act and in my opinion would have beat any other heavyweight of that era apart from Tyson...i actually had a lot of money on Spinks to win that fight ...if he had come in with the right attitude he would have stood a good chance as stylistically he could have given Tyson a lot of trouble. Tyson is a very good historian of the sport and gained great knowledge from Jimmy Jaco
  5. Thats about the most accurate description so far ...though gobshite is a bit harsh.....the expression " its not the dog in the fight its the fight in the dog "...always springs to mind when Tyson comes up.....dont matter how strong you are on the outside its the inside that usually lets you down, and it certainly did with this man.
  6. Absolutely,we are on the same page ....cajun rules dictate their can be no cruelty.......... Trying to create poor health in an animal that has no choice.....if thats not cruel i dont know what is !
  7. Its my opinion that any and every breeder of these monstrosities should be arrested and charged with animal cruelty,or at least be subject to rspca investigations..... In todays times people are arrested and jailed for dog fighting, animal baiting, starving dogs etc etc.....but PURPOSELY breeding extremely unhealthy animals for financial gain is actually encouraged If its cruel to purposely starve, bait or fight an animal then its also cruel to purposely breed worse and worse dogs that you know are going to be more and more unhealthy and therefore suffer more and more in day to day life...
  8. Nobody is trying to justify anything mate, crime is illegal !!.....and there is usually a victim.....it wasnt a popularity contest of course some folk were victims thats just the nature of making a living off crime...... To straight living folk the Krays were well liked and admired.....the local family buiseness you talk of loved the Krays.....the dodgy illegal drinking clubs/pubs ( people that couldnt go to the police ) hated the Krays because they had no answer to them.....nobody said they were good guys, but you will find that many straight living people from 60,s East London were very happy
  9. Yep cant argue with that,in todays times there is a small section of folk, usually very impressionable young men who read books and watch films etc and read into it something completely different to what it actually was.Hardmen ....theres nothing " hard " about any of it....Lennie Mclean was one of the physically toughest men i ever saw but he never claimed to be a hardman simply because fighting came natural to him...it wasnt difficult for a man like him to go and fight another big strong man it just came natural.....its the stuff that doesnt come natural to a man,the stuff that makes you lo
  10. Here we go more spurs fans coming out the woodwork........nobody wanted to admit they followed spurs until lately .....bit like Chelsea for the last 30 years !
  11. Violent criminal fathers and husbands you mean ?
  12. Not a bad game considering 1 teams got 9 defenders !....Rooneys having a nightmare by the look of it.
  13. I wouldnt call it " idolise " but i certainly respect the fact that 2 not particularly bright young lads from an extremely poor background were able to make the most of what they had and create the makings of a better life.... " Shaw and Mclean were hardly Wyatt Earp "........were they supposed to be then ? .....only folk from this area in that era would understand the shit and poverty men tried to rise above in those days,if that meant bending a few laws then that was the best option for many folk. I agree you cant compare crimes/crime rates same as you cant compare sentancing etc
  14. Theres no reason to think the krays wouldnt have been involved with the drug game, charlie got 12 years for trying to import, his grandson is doing life for chopping someones head off over drugs !....but as for the twins id have my doubts its something they would have been heavy into, although money is always a motive they were about a lot more than just money, they were more obssessed with power than being obssessed with money, its often said they could have been a lot more wealthy than they actually was simply because power/fame was just as important to them as making money. That said, even if th
  15. Cant say as i really know much about cricket but im a sucker for competetive sport involving England so i,ll be keeping an eye out....wouldnt underestimate them aussies there a very competetive nation and on home turf id imagine they,ll be hard to beat....got a feeling England will win the series 3-2.

    BOXING

Indeed it is fight fixing....it is actually illegal under British law for any sportsman ( not just boxers ) to bet on the outcome of a sporting contest where they are a single participant,i believe its ok in team sports although still frowned upon.....but in single contestant sports like boxing its an absolute no no.....from what i hear Haye was telling anyone who would listen he would knock Harrison out yes,but only said in what round AFTER the fight.....hence i believe if he had ended it in round 7 thats the round he would have said. Its my opinion that the statement he came out with in the

    BOXING

Personally i think Mayweather would stop him, dont get me wrong i think Pacquiao would give him a lot of trouble early on possibly even get him on the deck due to the unusual style and odd angles Pacquiao throws punches from, his footwork is very unorthodox........but Mayweather has such a great boxing brain and is so technically good he would be able to adapt....then with his natural size advantage id see him catching up with Pacquiao and stopping him late on. Hope im wrong....would be an intruiging fight no doubt about it.

    BOXING

If Haye did indeed bet on himself or tell family to bet on the round then he was a naive fool coming out and telling everyone afterwards !! As it was he quickly retracted it.....personally i think if he had finished the fight in the 10th round he would have said that was the round he predicted .....Ali could get away with stuff like that,David Haye cant quite pull it off however hard he tries !

    BOXING

Its hard to defend that shit the other night but you cant base everything on that.Frank Warren has done more for British fighters than anybody else in the history of the sport in this country ! As for the build up to that fight the other night.....come on did you really believe Harrison ? if you did then whos the fool him or you ?....why should Harrison not be paid he did his part in selling the fight and plenty of gullible fools believed the hype...... this was a voluntary defence for Haye,in other words it was his choice to fight a man he knew he could easily beat. Just a few things that a
  20. This word " racist " is a made up word with no meaning designed to terrify us into being brainwashed with thoughts that are not ours......it is the most natural thing in the world to dislike people whos very nature, way of life and understanding of right and wrong is the complete total opposite of our own.....so why should we tolerate what we dont agree with on our own doorstep..... the word we are forced to abide by today is " tolerance "......in other words HAVING A f****n GAG OVER YOUR MOUTH !! Personally im past caring if folk think im racist or not as i know its a meaningless word,....

    BOXING

Would be a step too far in my opinion,as will Mayweather if they get it on...talent,heart and desire will get you so far.....pure boxing ability with natural size will be just too much i believe.
  22. Thats usually how it is mate.....dont get me wrong there are dogs that are just born bad,the nature of genetics dictates sometimes a dog will just be wired wrong and theres no getting away from that.....but most of the time its human error, people not knowing or not caring whats on the end of their leash apart from a fashion statement !
  23. That was never proven..... i was at home in bed honest guv
