The right, but the hardest decision I've ever made
gnasher16 replied to MrsChamp606's topic in General Talk
From a compassionate point of view its a hard decision, from a working dogs point of view its an easy decision......when your breeding working dogs theres not much room for compassion and thats what makes them special. -
I think its ridiculous all this complication..... if Chelsea win it but dont finish top 4 they dont deserve to defend it simple you cant bend the rules to suit......same as my West Ham and the play offs its ridiculous really that we have finished 10 points in front of the 4th place club yet they have exactly the same chance of premiership football next year as we have !!!........how can there be the same incentive and reward for finishing the league 6th as there is to finishing 3rd...... Id like to go back to a straight forward cup competition in Europe and straight forward top 3 promotion in

However confident you feel.....as long as your going to honour your bet that is as i wont hold back from naming these non paying betters anymore

And Craig Bellamy is a shining beacon of light of course !......What i do know for fact is John Terry is very much respected by players he has played with ( team mates )....and thats whats most important, opponents are not supposed to like you ! Us the general public didnt know anything about what happened with players off the pitch years ago theres no point comparing Bobby Moore with John Terry its a different sport and different world to then top players cant fart without the world knowing now thats not their problem its ours........the game hasnt changed society has.

I cant prove it but i think your wrong about k1...........but then it is aimed at the most densely populated countries in the world so it could be.......even so......Chavez v Camacho or Haugen i forget who back in the 90,s was the biggest crowd for any kind of fight at 138,000.......Ali v Spinks was the biggest ever indoor crowd at odd thousand.......Jack Johnson and Jack Dempsey fights regularly got 100k+ open air....... Surely if your mma was as popular as you believe, it would be being staged in big open air venues like the big boxing matches and paying multi million pound purses.....l

John Terry has been the most succesful captain in Chelsea,s history.....he has also been given the captaincy by 2 different England managers ( people who know a little about football and footballers ).................Why Steven Gerrard because he,s got a squeaky clean image ??...........................Why not Ashley Cole or Rooney ? Its not x factor or big brother or any of the other reality tv popularity contests.......................its best man for the job regardless of how popular they are...............and John Terry has proven at every level to be best man for the job....

You sound very confident.....................care for a little wager ?

Now that is a shithole !!.....The only thing i respect about North London is they have kept a lot of the old traditional boys clubs St Matthias, the old Crown and Manor,Islington bc etc etc.....its a funny old area simply because you have ridiculous wealth and total poverty right on top of each other.....most of West London is poncey,South and East are toilets....but North is a bit of both...... I admire anyone who can stay loyal to their area so good on you........i,ll always be loyal to my people but i had to give up on the area....some things are just beyond our control !

......Got it today.....in Tescos of all places !

Think he,s overated myself......how many top managers couldnt win trophies with the best squad of players in the history of the game !!.......The fact the manager of the best team in the world has decided to call it a day after they,ve suffered a few losses maybe says something about the mans character. Cant imagine Alex Ferguson throwing the towell in after a few losses preferring to join an inferior club.

As a youngster Terry was offered a pro contract but turned it down as he was making more money as a binman !!!......How times change.

....The best pie and mash ive had aint even in London.......I forget the name of it but i remembered reading about the place Beckham often flies over to in Waltham Abbey Market.....gave it a try last year.....not sure its worth flying from America for but certainly one of the best ive had. The only place over that side you,ll find me on match day is at the top of the Shard throwing darts down ! I know the one you mean in Tower Bridge Rd....between the roundabout and Abbey St......not a bad one to be fair.

Not that i know of mate..................your probably thinking of Terry Downes

I,ll be lucky if im not just left there to rot !..... What needs to be remembered when talking about London is its the first place the shitbags of the world head for, they dont head for rural Derbyshire !!.......so is it Londons fault or the governments fault ?......I find it heartbreaking that the place i love and people i love have been swallowed up by so much shit i could no longer face living there.......if i wanted to carry on living in London it would be the choice of 2 extremes.......either living among people i cant communicate with because they dont speak my language or living amon

Been a sad few years for London boxing losing a number of big names.....topped off last night by Terry Spinks.....being in an Olympic year thats being held less than a mile from where he grew up......and what with Terry being Britains youngest ever Olympic champion the timing of his death is almost eerie.......He boxed out of West Ham boys club and won an aba title as well as Olympic gold. Met Terry a number of times he was friends with my father, lovely fella and great fun to be around......another one of the old school gone....but certainly not forgotten.

The reason you wouldnt have him as captain is because although he is " a leader " ( your words ) he brings controversy/trouble all around him ( your words )..............yet that controversy and trouble is not from a football pitch its from people like you who hate on a man because of things totally unrelated to football !! I hate Michael Jackson for things totally unrelated to music......but i wouldnt deny him his place in history or to be the equivalent of the England captain where music is concerned...... Anyway we,ve been here before i dont get why anyone gives a shit what a footbal

No boxing match has ever come close to what ? no obviously 90,000 people cant watch a fight in a 20 foot square ring.........Your talking about pay per view telly......come on be sensible if Ali/Frazier was taking place this weekend you really think it would be outwatched by Jones/Evans As regards most watched sports mma isnt in the top ten worldwide, boxing i think is around 6 or 7.......I believe the most watched event in sporting history was the 2008 Olympics opening ceremoney......i know the India v Pakistan cricket match some years ago was some ridiculous figure of viewers.......the yank

He,s proven over many years he,s best man for the job...................and his job is all anyone should be interested in.....its not his fault we are a nation obssessed with stars, celebs and reality tv.........................i hate Micahel Jackson because he was a nonce, doesnt mean he wasnt an all time great at what he did and should have any bearing whatsoever on his job..............whats the difference Yes Terry f****d up the other night, and for the first time it was actually on a football pitch !!

Knowledge is power and all that ...... Cheers Lurcher1.....just wondered if it would be a simple go in shop and buy kind of thing rather than all that subscription carry on.

Anybody know of a magazine called TGO ( The Great Outdoors ) ?....and if so where is it available is it a wh smiths job or a subscription type of thing.......thanks.

And John Terry is a top class defender regardless what he does off the field ......................couldnt resist that one mate

Thats yanks for you they dont know whether to shit piss or have a haircut !.........but if you think mma will ever be bigger than boxing on a worldwide scale then your living in dreamland................the days of big black yank heavyweight boxers is over they are all going into american football as the money is so much greater........if mma was such a great sport worldwide they wouldnt have this need to hype it up so much and turn it from one sport to another in such a short time.........apart from the amount of rounds boxing is exactly the same sport it was 100 years ago..... cage fighting/

I remember back in the early 90,s when " cage fighting " or " no rules fighting " was first spoke about over here the excitement in gyms was unbelievable......a real fight in a controlled environment without getting nicked it was hats off to the yanks for having the guts to stand up for their sport........ But ever since they have pussied out and tried to have one foot on either side of the fence introducing a hundred different rules giving in to media/public pressure.........i think the original attraction of the sport was the fact it was pretty much a real fight but the amount of folk ive
