gonetoearth comparing amateur sport to professional is just silly really its like comparing sunday pub football to the premier league and saying they are the same we know in a romantic ideal world everyone competes on a level playing field but lifes just not like that its like anything it gets more serious,more intense and more sacrifices need to be made the higher you go......in anything not just sport..... I honestly admire your outlook.....and its a typical amateur sport outlook.....but when peoples livings and futures are on the line the heat is turned up im afraid.

Ok Malt maybe that was an exaggeration......but in the last few months leading up to this appointment ive spoke with fans up and down the country and without any shadow of doubt Harry was by far the majority of peoples favorite.....95 % maybe not......but very few folk ive spoke to had Hodgsons name on the tip of their tongue its easy for folk to come out after saying they are happy with him but they wasnt saying they wanted him beforehand. Yep Everton would be up there as well.........Not sure they would be above Arsenal but certainly 2 clubs who live within their means and have relative success doing so.........how ironic they both just happen to be 2 of the most traditional old clubs,longest serving clubs in top flight football,longest serving managers in top flight football........in the game today.....................funny how when you look a little deeper than whats shoved in our faces every day you see who the true football clubs are !

Tomo.....The head of the American Olympic drug testing committe has said many times that only 1 in 6 athletes who tested positive recieved a ban....he used to call their anti doping program a " pr exercise "....... Lewis himself has admitted many times he failed tests. In all fairness its a better restaurant than it was pub The Knave was a right khazi....although it might be a listed building thinking about it. That restaurants got plenty of taxidermy inside quite a mad little gaff really i dont go a bundle on French food but you got to try these things....its bugging me now i cant remember the name of it,must be 10 years since it was the knave.

Being charismatic and likeable makes him a great man manager............he,s proved he is just as tactically astute as Hodgson,he had massive public backing which after all said and done is an ulikely bonus to any England manager................................your one of the only people ive spoke to who prefers Hodgson to Redknapp....but cool its all about opinions,personally i think the fa bottled it.

I guess the 95 % of the English population players,managers,public who wanted Harry are all wrong then Harry is a charismatic guy who players like,bond with and want to play for,he gets average players playing beyond their natural ability,and we have average players on a world scale...................Hodgson has the charisma of an oxo cube.....but he,s English so he,ll do i spose. Yes Inter Milan are a massive club....and what did he win with them ? nothing........What big name players has been associated with and worked alongside........
