Impasse: A position or situation from which there is no escape; deadlock. (in this context, the position being our conflicting viewpoints). Edited In: Jonah, I'm more of a "c**t" than a "bell end". But rest assured, I have zero interest in anyone's opinion of me. To me, you're all names on a screen, and thus your opinions are invalid to my conscience. Is that how you talk to your mates down the pub ? You have certainly read too many books ! And by the way..........i looked back at your post that i must of missed earlier......the fact your telling people to read Dave Courtneys boo

Heres the mountain we used to slide down, if you look closely you can see the grooves in the mountain we would slide down and after a few days of kids sliding down they'd get really fast. How long would it take from top to bottom and what sort of speed would you pick up......think my arse would drop out and id have to accidentally on purpose fall off the cardboard -
Don't know about official weights gnash but me and the mate fooling around with his kid, using the kayak as a seesaw lol, kid middle, us at each end, floated no problem. We are both around 14 stone, so roughly 30 stone on it. Difficult to manouvers obviously with 2 big kids either end with legs in the water I've had mine totally full of water and it keeps me a float. It has buoyancy aids built into it. I'm not saying they are designed for this weight but proves they can take it. You thinking of Canoing the Thames gnash lol? Im not the best in/on water.............just thinking of trying t

Must admit it makes me very jealous listening to all these childood stories........dont think i even saw a tree till my mid twenties and certainly didnt have the finesse to climb one Met a London lad when I was in my teens, he was down visiting his cousin who I was friends with. Didn't believe me at first when I told him I was off up the road to pick a few nuts off the trees, and when I insisted i was telling the truth he burst out laughing like I'd just told him the funniest joke in the world! Strange lot you Londoners, fair play! I can well believe it.......but it works both ways you k

gnasher16 replied to BORDERSCOT's topic in General Talk
Borderscot your certainly coming up with some good finds lately mate ................Its something i love about the tradition of boxing in this area it doesnt forget the older generations even today the London Ex Boxers Association does some great work for former fighters. Heard a lot of people say Cockells corner should of pulled him out a good few rounds earlier against Marciano.....brave tough man though.
