Id say anything apart from violence are just the rules of life we all have to learn.....protecting a kid from the rules of life i think you could be on dangerous ground as you cant hold their hand forever....if the lad hurts my daughter in an emotional way,out of her pocket,cheating etc......then to me thats a lesson in life.......but any violence then thats where me and him fall out. Maybe if holiday companies were banned from using the disgraceful tactics they use to extort money from families they wouldnt have to resort to things like this just to have a normal family holiday with the kids !

Growing up we was told theres 2 things a man doesnt have to justify......his faith or his football team ............for me only a complete ignoramus would mock another mans beliefs and ask him to justify them !......I dont really have the brain power to keep up in debates about god/evolution etc but must admit id have a million and one questions to ask you science bods if i was capable of processing words with more than 3 syllables ....... For me you take what you like from faith and leave behind what you dont like i cant see why it has to be all or nothing im an opinionated black and white

I dont know whats worse some Jehovas Witness knocking on your door trying to force their opinions on you or people trying to force you to believe all religion is made up lies and terrible etc etc............. Religion is out there..... if you want it take it......if you dont want it dont take it.... its that simple but you dont need to tell people they are wrong if they do that makes you no better than the Jehovas lot in my opinion.

Best post on the whole topic in my opinion ....Keep things simple and be there if your needed.....I couldnt be doing with all that obsessive overprotection stuff i remember as a teenager/young man the head to head battles i had with birds fathers i promised God i would never do that to a lad when i became a father !.....When my daughter was dating i always found the first introduction/handshake was sufficient to get the point across with no need for warnings......as luck would have it she ended up marrying a cracking lad,i wouldnt say we are close buddy buddy types but i certainly have a lot

Yes because clubs like West Brom,Notts County,Blackpool are much better.......when a man thinks he should be managing England.....or at worst Man Utd or Real Madrid...................keeping the little old Hammers in the premier league should be no problem at all.

People say that but when was it ever any different ?......The old first division wasnt much different there was only a handful of clubs ever in with a shout of winning it the rest were just surviving and hoping for a good cup run......hence why we were so infuriated when silly bollocks sent us to Forest with a youth team the other day !

I think that " huddle " thing is a cringeworthy embarrassing pile of nonsense yes....................but each to their own.........my point is " creating a fantastic natural atmosphere with 60k home fans watching a team thats winning and flying high is not a difficult thing to do...........................5k away fans creating an atmosphere in a game they are getting soundly thrashed and humiliated i think takes some doing Lab.
