I think the true test of a man like Mourinho as a pure football manager would not be the Chelseas and Madrids in the elite leagues of Europe and Champions league etc.....but getting a small club like Morecombe or Accrington or someone up the leagues where dipping into deep pockets to get out of trouble is not an option.

He was offered a million pound to fight Froch again, double what he got last time so I'd say its not about money. Its not about money.....the fact Groves has been badgering the ibf for a rematch proves that.....im not sure exactly what it is with the ibf but i know when the wbc order rematches the challenger is normally only entitled to around 20% of the purse.......so for Groves to be getting 1 mill they would have to be cutting 5 mill between them......cant see it myself.

I think its horrible the way the richest clubs in the land like Chelsea can almost control a club who do have morals like Arsenal in as much as they can have a 40 million pound asset at a club challenging for the title who will happily go to a club who might not even get in Europe......just so as to get a game of football every week ! Personally i think Chelski and Sheikh City are killing the game and something will have to be done sooner or later.

Exactly how would the nation benefit from the national sport being banned ? The National Sport is Cricket mate Do you think Cricket is a more popular sport than football in the Uk ? Nope not for a minute. But still doesn't alter the fact that cricket is our national game No problem......i suppose i just expected folk to take it in the meaning it was meant....ie......biggest,most popular watched and played sport in the country. I always find topics like these ironic whereby some folk see the word " football " and cant wait to tell you how much they hate it......

Why does Rugby always come into it when people who dont like football talk about why they dont like football !!....Like its a competition or something.....A lot will depend on the area you grew up.....i dont ever remember even seeing a Rugby ball as a kid it was a sport posh university kids over Twickenham way would play..... Must admit i agree with him.....lets just pretend it wasnt Mata but Messi......and lets say Messi is worth 2 goals per game.......so you play Chelsea twice and you,ve dropped 4 goals to him....but never mind you aint got to play against him again...................................then he pops up in a Man Utd shirt and sticks another 2 past you !! Of course im jealous....what fan of a smaller club wouldnt be envious when another smaller club reaches a cup final,Wigan the other year were the most envied team of fans around the country.......am i missing something or have West Ham suddenly developed a rivalry with Sunderland that i dont know about ....until i met the fella Peter Lemooch off here id never given them a second though or even ever spoken to a Sunderland fan come to think of it They deserved to win and i hope the win the final hence i,ll trot along to have a look......it was just a funny game last night thats all.

I know im not the trendy type of fan clubs like Chelsea and City are attracting these days im a dinosaur when it comes to football i know that.....i dont expect or even really crave wild success and trophies sure i want to win individual games like anyone does but i dont kid myself im sure you dont either Wilf.....football for me over the years has been about so much more than players on the pitch its been about the crossed Hammers,your pals,the days out,the traditions and everything else that go,s with it.....i wouldnt trade that for watching players ive never heard of winning trophies for a

Ive got one of them blue ones nice little bird...... Pappabear are you the chap i had my red factors and red mosaics from ?....I cant remember by name but the pictures look familiar..... Id steer clear of them Glosters i cant stand the f****n things wish id never got them its like sitting watching paint dry they dont sing dont move and after a while even " the look " wears thin......im not 100% but i think with Glosters you have to breed a Consort and a Corona to get the wig come out and im not sure ive ever seen a red one but who knows. -
I was having problems with one a few months back .....might of been a few different ones i dont know but every day they was on the case........for no apparent reason they just seemed to stop i havent seen one since i dont know if they realised it was a waste of time or what.

Against Huddersfield and Yeovil ?........Thats the sort of teams we are going to be competing against Wilf.....atmosphere will be swallowed up......we,ll start attracting tourist fans..........ive said for a few years now i think it will be my cue to call it a day and just be a telly fan and i know a lot of my generation who say the same.......sure we,ll all be replaced no problem and the club will go in its own direction.......i,ll be claret and blue till im in a box but away from The Boleyn nothing will be the same for me.
