How does a " greater risk of being caught " tally up with harsher sentancing ? which is the reason for the drop greater risk of being caught or harsher sentancing ? Technology ( the greater risk of being caught ) is the reason people no longer walk into a bank with a sledghammer and a sack........not harsher sentances. Because any logical risk assesment is based on the statistical chance of falling foul and the consiquences of falling foul. It's a combination of the two. If you had to cross a road and their was a 50% chance of you getting clipped by a cyclist would you cross? Now i

Because drug mules never try slipping out of Malaysia or the Philippines any more do they ..................people will always be tempted to juggle risk/reward thats human nature,my logic tells me removing that temptation is better for everyone.

And whats wrong with pricing out those who cant afford to pay for their mistakes ?..............Besides which, how is it pricing out a sensible middle aged man who lives in the country who,s premium will likely be less than the spotty idiot driving a Fiesta in London
-
You dont think that might have something to do with cctv/forensics/.....ie technology..........rather than tougher sentancing ?................tougher sentancing for a crime does not stop the crime being committed.....simple.

A 200 bhp BMW owned by a 55 year old living in the sticks will probably be around the same figure to insure as a 18 year old Fiesta owner living in London.......the price is reflected in the overall risk..................a high risk dog owned by that same BMW owner is not as high risk as the same dog owned by the Fiesta owner.

You are calling them the less wealthy......im calling them the unsuitable........should a jobless spotty teenager be legally allowed to get into a 200 mph supercar and create panic on the roads ? no.......so why should he be able to do it legally with a dog ?.......the only thing that stops him doing it with a car is finance.....so why shouldnt a high risk dog owner be treated with the same precaution as a high risk car owner.

I dont know one junkie who thinks heroin should be illegal laws shouldnt be based around what people want they should be based around what works.......making people more responsible with heavier sentancing doesnt work in any crime did bank robberies stop in the 70,s when folk were getting lifed off no of course they didnt people will always chance their arm.......hence to my mind its better to remove the temptation of wrongdoing than punish the outcome of wrongdoing.

Only at heavyweight in my opinion.

99% of todays dogs are so far from what they were originally bred to do they shouldnt really even be carrying the breed name let alone the breed traits. Bracken boy we can shout for heavier sentancing all we want if we cant get appropriate sentancing for paedophiles what hope do we have for dog owners ?..........In my opinion whats needed is a deterrent to keeping a dangerous dog not a proper punishment once the damage has been done there are far too many dogs being bred,if the financial stakes are raised in keeping a dangerous dog less will be bought...in turn less be bred......and eventu

They get fined then banned then imprisoned.......same as a car......look at the lengths the government will go to regarding legalising the roads......ok theres not the return money wise in dogs but the proof is there to show if laws are enforced they can be made to work.

Its funny how things change through the generations when we was young a straightener was as normal as a fish and chip supper.....now it gets turned into a Hollywood production and called " a sport " .......The old east end boys and west end girls relationships which we all wanted back then would never of got off the ground if the bird found out you earned your living on the cobbles, now its hero worship all round......funny reversed logic people are using these days i blame Snatch myself !

He didnt pull out through fear of being beaten they are just trying to be a lot more clever than what they actually are...............but i agree when you say you will fight with your eyes gouged out and your head hanging off you make yourself look a little bit silly if the next day you say you cant fight because your uncles not well

Nurture versus Nature will always throw out different opinions and thats ok.....me ive seen fish born wronguns, trees grow as wronguns, people born psycho killer wronguns.......i just dont believe dogs are excluded from the laws of nature.

Made some good signings there still seems strange he,s bought 2 right backs when Vermallen seems to be on the go but that Sanchez looked a good player at the world cup reminded me of Aguero a bit.....interesting season ahead for the Gooners. And my Hammers have got the mighty Mauro Zarate !! ................he,s a footballer apparently he must be one of favourites to get sacked before xmas ravel morrison back in training with you but i would of thought he would of replaced carroll whos out by now maybe the board dont want to spend in case they sack him after 10 games or whatever

Well in chaps .....just how it should be.

I cant lie i didnt read the entire article but i did watch the clip as i love them old fight films......in terms of fitness this clip is a perfect example......look how the styles of fighting are so much different to today, theres virtually no head movement,no jabs, very flat footed.....fights of old going 40/50 rounds dont encourage high work rate I keep using Calzaghe as reference even though i am certainly no fan of his or his style.....but he is the perfect example of what im talking about.....his intensity and movement would not have been possible for 12 x 3 minute rounds in bygone day

Scrap the dda and have mandatory insurance premiums on all dogs priced in relation to dog type/owner type ie....Group 20 Pit Bull Terrier for a 20 year old in London = 5k per annum.......Group 3 Corgi for a 65 year old in rural Hertfordshire = 50 pound per annum Lets see who REALLY wants to own an " in " dog.

Chisora pulled out with an injury? Wouldnt of stopped Fury pulling out if his reason is to be believed

No top sportsman was ever created in a classroom and you wont put in what nature left out........enjoy your sport and long may it keep you healthy, but take it for what it is.

Yes but what about the big new premier league signing then......................................................the magic shaving foam !!!!

My point is mate any idiot who thinks a dog cant be born bad shouldnt own a dog in the first place in my opinion.......its a tiny % of dogs that are and usually they dont end up in an idiots hands but very occassionally they do and its a recipe for disaster when it happens.

Anerley aint that down near Penge/Sydenham way ....proper Londoner how does that work then its on the Kent borders last i looked Seen plenty of deer in London as Tuffty said....not sure about Stoke Newington but seen some at Hollow Pond round the back of Whipps Cross hospital, even saw a few in Victoria Park once ........used to walk the dogs up the River Lea early in the morning years ago would often see Fallow in the distance you must of been walking round with your eyes shut Dare.
