It wasnt the fact they was brave ( not that they wasnt ) they were fighting in the days of 15 round fights and 50/60/70 fight careers as well as hard sparring......understanding has come a long way today with the shorter distance,no gym wars,better conditioning,less fights etc meaning we,ll see far fewer punchy ex fighters than those days.

One of my favorite era,s in boxing was the early ,s lightweight division there was a Puerto Rican called Edwin Rosario i dont know if theres any footage of him on youtube.......not as well known as those already spoken of but he was a phenomenal puncher.

I like watching darts i find it a fascinating mental battle when you see the little mind games going on............ive practised till im blue in the face and still f****n useless but enjoy watching it.......bdo dont compare to pdc especially at xmas its a real comedown watching the bdo tournament after the pdc.

Must be a special young pup to go through all that caper...... despite the degradation of dossing about in stations its probably a pretty good way of starting a close bond with a dog......nice little story cheers

Because nearly all the fights went the distance.....if there had been a few more stoppages on the undercard fights the main events would of been 9/10 o clock.

I was there at the start mate as i wanted to see the local steroid dust up between Ali Adams and Larry Olu .....but i also wanted to see the fights at the Excel so with clever communications we slipped away from York Hall at 8.15 so missed your man but ive heard good things about him he,s trained by Adam Booth am i right ?......Adams very choosey about who he trains so on that alone id say the kids possibly got a bright future.

This fight had all the hallmarks of the Benn/Eubank rivalry .....the rough street kid v the posh and polished !.....same trainers etc.... Jimmy Tibbs and Ronnie Davies have an old rivarly ( friendly ) going back years and im delighted for Jimmy as this is his first win over him !.....But right or wrong Ronnie wont bite the hand that feeds him and as usual he has to take a back seat to the ego.....until daddy gets away from that boy i dont see him ever fulfilling his potential. Why not ? If they don't like that go somewhere else ... Why should I have to take my motorbike helmet off to go into a bank but a Muslim woman can be fully covered from head to foot ? Strange that you are so obssessed with a conversation that A, was nothing to do with you.......B,that it concerns somebody you refuse to talk to......and C, that you only know 50 % of what it was even about !!.......im still curious about what any of its got to do with a ticket tout ?......being that engrossed in a story why dont you just ask rather than just guess. You seem like a good lad Wilf and i would never intentionally offend you but it sounds to me like you,ve played a game that it now looks like your losing so you have changed the rules to suit you still winning. I think its lovely watching kids eyes light up meeting their idols them Brazilians are so affectionate to youngsters dont matter how famous they are they remember where they came from and its always nice to see.
