  1. Think theres more chance of you being there than me ......i cant do all that happy family support each other stuff......but if England go out i,ll be rooting for the Welsh 100%......enjoy the rest of the tournament mate.
  2. Absolutely spot on......schoolboys who have never and are unlikely to ever take a punch in their life would see a man get " a bit puffed out ".....folk who know and understand a little bit about a fight would of seen the good as well as the bad. Personally i like the way Joshua is carrying his punch into the second half of a fight and winning the rounds it shows he is dangerous at any time which as an opponent means you can never relax into the fight and take breathers.....theres still plenty of things he does wrong and plenty to improve on but as a 17 fight novice the boy and those around
  3. So in your opinion Joshua looked poor because....." he looked flustered after round 4 "......that is the height of your technical and athletic deftness and understanding of " a fight " ............well..............thanks for that eye opening analysis !
  4. I think thats whats making Wales a dangerous side for anyone in this competition the fact that they havent played particularly well and there best player has been relatively quiet....... yet they are still getting through the stages.....Bale will come alive at some point if thats in a quarter/semi final how exciting for the Welsh ! Funny Wales are not really performing but getting the wins and England are performing well but not getting the wins.....off down to Nice today to see a turnaround tomorrow with a convincing win.
  5. Personally ive never seen Breazeale before so found it hard to judge his abilities........in what ways is he limited ?....i know Joshuas technical frailties but i accept he is a 17 fight novice who was thrown in at the deep end. Maybe you could point out these dificiencies that make him look poor ?
  6. Think thats a bit harsh lads injuries happen its part of the game.....all i meant was Fury will now realise how silly he sounded with some of his previous comments about other fighters now he,s in the same boat.
  7. I disagree, the working immigrants in the UK are contributing to our nation. Why the fcuk should they be punished?? Obviously our own people should be given first dibs on jobs but we all know how lazy a lot of Brits are when it comes to work. Where exactly did I say that they were not contributing? I also agree with an amnesty for illegals, because at the moment they are not contributing, but are still here. So might as well get them contributing. TC They pay their taxes just like everybody else, why should they be punished?? I agree proposals could be made for future immigrants,
  8. Well its not often the bookies slip up on things like this i was amazed when i woke up this morning what a result !......ive never been one to scream and shout about stuff i dont fully understand like some do but its funny listening to some of the pretend politicians........the mrs is well clued up and been on my earhole all week about it but it bores me silly so i keep things simple.......if there was one little tiny light still flickering that will stop the gaff going down the toilet maybe its just been turned on.....lets hope so anyway.......Land of Hope & Glory and all that.
  9. Was at the weigh in at Covent Garden today so refreshing to see a bunch of lads just get on and off the scales with no drama or push shoving contests, out in the open air it was like old times......Eubank made a complete dick of himself again,Benns boy weighed 6 or 7 pound more than his opponent who looked like he,d just been dragged off a local building site,as did Dillian Whytes opponent......there was some serious tension between him and big Josh....man them boys dont like each other Think the fight of the night could be Groves/Murray interesting little dust up there.
  10. Maybe now he,ll realise his limitations and accept he,s just a fighter.............not a machine,a super hero,a comedian, clairvoyant or psychiatrist................he,s just a fighter who gets injuries like anyone else does.
  11. Must admit id love to give it a go....not sure i know enough to actually stay alive very long but would certainly be up for the challenge for 6 months or so id probably come back weighing about 7 stone !............not something id want to do permanently i like to be around folk too much......and after all said and done if you know you can just go home when you,ve had enough i doubt its the same experience.
  12. Everything written is governed by libel law. Of course you could be sued. So, what you're saying is that everyone should be careful what they write and what they repeat, or they could find themselves in serious trouble ? Is that a road you really want to be going down come on for f**k sake whatever happened to settling things with a right hander im fully aware theres some silly c**ts out there talking out of line but if it bothers you so much that you would go all legal eagle on them then just dont go on the internet its not compulsory. The problem though Gnasher is that the fella in need o
  13. There we go thankyou squire a good honest answer to a simple question at last So a bit of an arsehole off the pitch but an outstanding competitor on it........well as a sports fan id judge him on what he does rather than what he says all day long but does what he did give him the right to be heard.... we tend to bestow that privilege on top ex players so i guess so.
  14. Strange.....that Paul Mcgrath was no slouch was he.....and Keane could certainly put his foot in......im not sure he was the same plot of micks but Liam Brady was one of my all time favorite players i dont think ive ever seen a more naturally skilful player so what your saying makes sense.
  15. The best at what ? drinking beer and singing ?.....no problem if that's what constitutes " good fans "....fill ya boots and all that. Ive been a West Ham fan my entire life i know what gallows humour is all about......but celebrating defeat i find bizarre sorry. Im not trying to piss on anyones shoes i simply wanted to know how Irish folk felt towards probably their greatest player of all time and it seems many dont hold him in particularly high esteem because he wanted to win too much.......which kind of answers my question Francie but cheers anyway.
  16. Out...........but we will be in the minority im afraid.
  17. No idea but whatever they offer you i,ll double it !!! I am a poor old man ,my fiver won't be any good to you youngster . It was only an attempt at humour ol boy but my smiley face things dont seem to work anymore......and im just not a " lol " sort of guy.

  19. No idea but whatever they offer you i,ll double it !!!
  20. You have to be realistic id put Germany/Italy/Spain/France on one level.....Croatia/Belgium/England/Wales on the next........and the rest below that. If you keep things simple like that its hard to see England getting to the final whereas Wales must be in with a shout. Bollocks to tactical ploys they just give me a headache !
  21. As competition yes boxers make boxing......but the reason boxing in Britain is currently going through an all time high in popularity and success is not because we have better fighters than we,ve ever had before as your 3 middleweight examples show......its because the money being generated in Britain is beyond virtually anywhere else in the world and that comes through great marketing.............dont get me wrong i cant stand all these silly conversations at the table and suchlike and im totally with you when it comes to our expectations of what constitutes a good contest but the manner in w
  22. What are you a counsellor how do you know whats best for him I agree its refreshing that if he is a bandit he,s not self absorbed enough to think the general public are all sitting waiting with bated breath to know........who cares !
  23. What i dont get is how sports fans can celebrate losing in the exact same manner they celebrate a great victory like last night !.....dont ask me to understand it because i never will,or want to. So this jealousy thing obviously wasnt tongue in cheek because you,ve said it again so i ask you again.....what is it im supposed to be jealous of ?.....have Ireland won the tournament while i wasnt looking or something ?
  24. I think we,ll get past Iceland and go out in the quarters against France.....your lot on the other hand id be putting a crafty little bet on getting to the final just about now....cant see much for yous to really fear there.
  25. Its only our media that hang our players out to dry.....fans who genuinely support the national team know the score and dont jump on that boat......again,most countries get behind their players not just Ireland.............anyway great result for the Irish last night totally deserved the win from the little bits i saw.
