    actually mcgregors normal weight is 160 pounds, that walking about not training, an his big gob got him all his doe mate, nate diaz walking around weight is 190/200, so you see were im going.I doubt diaz is as high as that. That was rumours from mcgregors camp diaz said he was walking around about 177. Where folk get he is a massive guy is beyond me it's just an excuse for mcgregor fans.     Is there a distance your allowed to go like?He got out the road, took a breather. If Nate thought he was running scared he should have chased him and finished him. I wonder why he didn't? Because it's not a running race. Points scored on octagon control if you can stand in the centre and have a man run away scared to engage why Chase him. Like you say tho there should be a point where a certain amount of running sees a point deduction. These ground guys are constantly taking breathers the only difference is they do it on the ground........do they get a point taken no they just get stood up.

    Just out of curiosity what would make you feel Stubblefield was any more responsible for the success of the Reid/Kingfish dogs than say Gary Hammonds was responsible for the success of the Nelis/Tug dogs ?......or have i misunderstood what you said.     He fukin ran away ya mad man, he didn't go for ground n pound fair play to him there but he did run away!You and everyone that doesn't like him calls it running away.     I agree......fighting a man you know you cant hurt is a frightening thing to do it takes a lot of poise,discipline,technical ability and a decent size set of bollocks !!......i dont think Mcgregor at any time put everything into his punches as he didnt plan on stopping Diaz......it was a very classy effort by both fighter and trainer.

    Great stuff....got to be in the right mood for a bit of blues....i enjoy people like John Lee Hooker,Homesick James..........pure musical talent cheers for posting it up By the way if you ever find yourself in the East End theres a place called Blues Kitchen in Curtain Rd near Old Street roundabout does some cracking blues nights,great food great atmosphere.......and some damn fine music.

    It was the only fight i watched in the whole Olympics but i dont think Joyce did enough to win myself......you couldnt ask for more in terms of effort and desire but the quality just wasnt there.... in amateur boxing pressure doesnt amount to much if your not landing scoring punches its why ive never been a big fan of the amateur sport its not a true reflection of the ups and downs of a competitive fight in my opinion.

    As Ron Greenwood used to say a club is only as strong as the players it can produce.........when hit by injuries todays clubs have to rely on its youth only the top 4 or 5 clubs in the land can go and buy their way out of trouble........managers can give youth an opportunity but they cant create it.

    I agree....to me the only people that can claim success on a dog is the breeder and the handler/conditioner.........otherwise we might as well put the success of the majority of the worlds American Pit Bull Terriers down to Earl Tudor !

    Think your missing my point mate what im saying is many people were importing a Mayfield or a Patrick pit bull for working reasons......people were not importing a Scott or Painter American Bulldog for working reasons so what difference did the bloodline really matter. For what its worth i dont think any of them made suitable pets they were the wrong breeds at the wrong time in the wrong country......just my belief.

    If the time comes when a peak top level boxer fights a peak top level mma fighter it will be the beginning of the end for both sports in my opinion.........it would be completely absurd to put Mcgregor or Diaz in a boxing ring with any top pro fighter same as it would be just as absurd to put Amir Khan in an octagon with a decent level mma fighter its the sort of thing people who have no knowledge or experience in either sport constantly go on about for what reason i do not know.......its like a child asking who would win a running race between Usain Bolt and Mo Farah !
