  1. Do you have experience as a firefighter or fire risk assessment......i dont.....so i think i'll go on the opinion of somebody who does thanks.
  2. I've always felt that the most popular fighters of a given era are usually representative of the days society...when you look back to Ali's era in the 60's/70's society was very racially aware and coming round to the idea of showbiz/ sports personalities....in the 80's Tyson and Hagler were dominating in an aggressive direct way as society was back then.....Hattons popularity was at a time when society wanted to be compassionate and the boy next door role he played suited that.....likewise todays society is obsessed with people confronting each other its become almost trendy and with the size
  3. I had a similar chat this morning with an ex fireman chap i know he,s adamant that a fire of that intensity could not of covered the distance it did in the short time it did with no outside influence he thinks the whole cladding thing is a load of bollocks.....we,ve all seen how manipulative the media reporting has been i dont think its beyond possibility that an organised arson type of scenario would be hushed up by those in power and blame placed elsewhere in order to keep the same " multicultural togetherness " agenda thats being spoon fed us at the moment.
  4. Like Stan said to even discuss the outcome or fight tactics would be giving it credit it doesnt deserve its a non event for actual fight fans but a blockbuster for fans who like the " Hollywood " aspect of boxing......the damage it does to mma i couldn't care less about but the damage it does to boxing comes in many different guises the main one for me being the impression it gives to talented young fighters......McGregor is an extremely charismatic young man with a lot of charm and personality shit id like to give him a big sloppy hug myself that's how charisma works you draw people to you...
  5. I thought you were big on community spirit? From what I've just watched there is a massive response from the local community, massive amounts of donations of cloths etc from the locals, they may be wrong colour for you, but it's clearly there.... I've also seen plenty of coverage of white people that's been effected by it or just helping. The fact is, there could be over a hundred more victims in there? many of them little kids, seems a strange time to be irritated by a bit of coverage of community help.... Of course im all for community spirit i just dont think its something folk need ramm
  6. That's the long and the short of it.....it's also the beginning of the end for one or possibly both sports as legitimate competitive sports in my opinion.
  7. It's this obsession with community spirit that gets on my nerves stop trying to brainwash us into thinking we all " have each other's backs " as they say......the country has never been more divided for crying out loud we,re not stupid !
  8. I wonder why the wild dog didn't kill it first. I know, that long before the ban, my own lurchers, having tripped larger game, always went straight to the throat to suffocate the animal. Or is it the case, in pack animals like African Wild Dogs, where they are used to being on a kill in large numbers, it is important to get quickly into the softer underbelly to claim their share. Late to the feast, through being on the throat, means the easy to get at meat has gone. Forget trying to kill it, it will die soon enough anyway through shock and blood loss. Just wondering. For the very same reason
  9. I dont see any reason to think this was terror related, having grown up in blocks like these i know what death traps they are one of my earliest childhood memories was the Ronan Point disaster which led to a lot of tower blocks being pulled down over this side of London but ive never understood how in this day and age councils get away with housing people up in the sky of such shabbily built structures Kensington & Chelsea will be one of the richest boroughs in London where wealth and poverty live side by side but you can bet your bottom dollar if theres a paving slab sticking up outside on
  10. Who gives a bollock what he,s got to say the geezers irrelevant until he gets a boxing licence.
  11. What a cracking idea i wonder if you,d get away with sticking a trail cam or something up close by.....i put a box up for Barn Owls a few years ago but nothing, how do you know the right areas just hit and miss i suppose. Good video that cheers squire.
  12. " He only cut you up at a roundabout and now he,s dead " " Yes but he was wearing an Arsenal shirt and driving a van officer i was taking no chances " Yep i quite fancy some of this.
  13. That won't stop you though will it tubby ! Cracks me up all this pork snobbery many of these people come from the filthiest most desperate shitholes around the world yet they want to stick their noses in the air about a bit of meat.
  14. I think thats a bit strong theres no need to call the dog a c**t you,ll hurt his feelings.
  15. It makes me wonder how these lot ever get kids made i mean they are not exactly big on fun are they i just cant imagine them having a good time doing anything its almost like Muslims are not happy unless they are finding reason to execute someone.....dont they ever see what they,re missing out on in life i can respect their beliefs and little rituals but come on for f**k sake have a bit of fun,you dont see them smile or laugh much do you what a nasty miserable existence it must be living in an enjoyment free world !
  16. You may mock my physique, you may mock my fluffy pooches......but im not the one now frantically running round trying to work out how to delete my google history before the ol woman comes home !!! I was always curious about these dark secrets you army boys have.....im not sure i want to know now you weirdo.
  17. As a man Errol was the kind of black guy that white guys respected back then...he was willing to stand up for himself and give as good as he got without sneaking away and whinging to authorities.....as a fighter he represented himself very well and did what very few amateur fighters have ever done which is stayed unbeaten in an England vest...as a pro he had a good career and some fights than in todays times would of been huge mega money domestic events. I didnt know him well but the few times i saw him in later years he would ask how Mark Kaylor was the last thing i remember him saying wa
  18. Bang on......what a c**t the geezer !
  19. Good man, always nice to meet dogs that dont want to tear your limbs off ! Look im not saying theres anything wrong with people who are all " fluffy " about dogs,to me a dog should be a help and a companion all im saying is the right tool for the job and if the dog doesnt meet your expectations you shouldnt be put on a guilt trip about getting shot.....they are dogs not children, all the best.
  20. I've read a fair few of your posts and, I do respect your opinion but, thats f***ing harsh mate.I understand where you're coming from but, we're still talking about a living thing that has a will to survive. Now, I'm not a dog man but, I do own own dogs. One of which can be a little prick - she seems to hate other dogs, kids, old people, black people - she can be feckin embarrassing on a walk but, she's mine. She shows me affection but, I have to keep an eye on her. I know what she's about and, I'll be mortified the day that she goes. We've got to a point now where I know her foibles and ho
  21. Thats one way of looking at it......another would be if the Jocks hadnt won 2 free kicks around the box they wouldnt of get any points. Mind you we was diabolical again so probably a fair result.
  22. Why limit yourself with a fold up bike when theres all these fancy brackets to fit on the back of motors these days.....when in Cyprus i whack the bike on the back of the motor and f**k off up into the hills its a lovely sense of freedom so i get the need to have a bike in the car but from what ive seen most of them fold up ones are crap.
  23. If as a working dog man you wasnt happy with a new shovel or a ferret would you feel obliged to keep it anyway....of course you wouldnt,i dont know why we obssess over the whole " a dogs for life not just for xmas " mentality in this country.....a dog is property, its yours to do as you please with as long as nothing cruel takes place then get a new one every week till you find the one your happy with if thats what you want to do.
  24. Socks i take you on your word with things like this as you know what your on about and i dont im sure theres standard procedure that people like me dont care for all that matters is the result....theres a couple of you lads on here who have experience in war/situations and so your opinions hold more weight with me than the bookworm toy soldiers but i repeat im just a civilian all i care about is the end result and to read the words " made a f**k up " after what i thought was a great ending is hard to take.....but i totally accept the finer details of what your saying. It would be like us bot
  25. Directly taking the piss out of people will either be tolerated or it wont.......snidely drawing infantile pictures or having internet digs at people just leaves a sour taste in my opinion.
