lurchergirl, can i ask why you won't feed pork ? i get most of my stuff gratis from the butchers as well and have never had any problems when feeding it , i've have always believed the reasons behind people not using pork were based on auld wives tales that have no relevance today. anybody had any problems feeding pork ?
i've no desire to argue either mate, i put the link up because i found it helpful and thought others might also find it useful. it up to yourselves if you use them not, i certainly will continue too.
all the best
Lawrence.
just got my first longnett yesterday , handmade by runningwhippet and already supplied with hazel poles, i think Holly would make good poles as well, easy to get a hold of, very straight and strong.
ok so I've two jills, one definitely pregnant and due early next month, the other could well be pregnant too, thought I'm not sure, if so she would be about 3 weeks behind the other, do i need to separate them?
enjoyed that, brought back a few memories, i caught my first rabbit with a whippet down that way many years ago, lamping on a piece of ground outside greyabbey which could only worked when the tide was out.
go to the working whippet forum and pm runningwhippets, he makes top class purse and long nets, just ordered one myself.
