    George Green Secondary School on the Isle of Dogs a music teacher put a kid over his knee and battered him with a clog biggest mistake of his life the kids dad came up the school in front of everybody battered him and then lobbed him down a flight of stairs and broke his back, much to the amusement of us kids good old days lol.

    I’ve just got back from Mexico where I stayed there was a lot of Canadians and Americans it was a tipping frenzy tip the fridge man the maid the pool man the barman the waiters the butlers the guest experience people, even when I was leaving at the airport I bought some food at a counter and was reminded that a tip wasn’t included mental, I also don’t do false pretentious hugging either and that pathetic little peck on the cheek absolute puke, oh and yeh Gino is a f***ing nuisance lol.

    Different mentality I get it work life balance and all that, but for me it was more of a smash and grab I had a plan, earn as much as I could and get out and fortunately it worked out lot of the blokes I worked with didn't know when to give up, a month after my 60th I put in my notice would have done it earlier if I had joint ops earlier.

    I was a patrolman for years back when you didn’t have to have a fleet of lookouts it was a lovely job as long as you didn’t miss anything but again your not going to better yourself financially the same as planning no money in it, if you want to better yourself financially Mobile ops manager or a signaller but in a power box grade 8/9 that’s where you can earn serious dollar.

    Your on the wrong side of the railway, maintenance, I’ve been on both maintenance and operations, if I told you what I took home annually as a Mobile Operations Manager you would question yourself as to what on earth am I doing all this graft for in shit weather and on nights, make it your mission to look at the vacancies everyday and become a Mom you won’t look back as soon as I got a job in ops I was respected more, I tripled my wages and if your smart you can even grab a kip as long as you respond immediately on nights. if you worked down here and requested to come off nights unless yo

    I’ve been to your town Arry and I did notice as the high street bends to the left at the top on the left hand side it was freak central lol, whole nut, hessian bag, gleany greenies, lezzies and poofs alternative nutters, you nailed it lol, fair old share of pie and pasty shops as well so not all bad also a nice river running through.

    If he’s well enough Bangers get him back over to see your birds the memories will still be there you’ve just got to tap in and invoke them, On a course I did on the railway helping people with Alzheimer’s/ Dementia use the railway there was a discussion about how people’s memories are like a book case and that all the old books store the memories and aren’t forgotten and it’s the recent stuff the magazines papers they couldn’t remember at all, I remember visiting my grandmother in a home she had severe Alzheimer’s didn’t know who I was but called off every name in an old photograph of aro

    My Nan & Grandad used to religiously feed it to me on toast cooked over the coal fire on an extended fork, the dark jelly bits were to die for good childhood memories, me grandad used to say get it down yer son it will put hairs on yer chest lol

    Oh well the OP might come back but it’s still good info for others to look at, the kitchen is porcelain nice to lay on in the summer lol and the lounge Oak feels like Mumsnet lol, I’ve only got one picture to hand an old one I will try and take some in the field when I get back I’m off on my travels today to Mexico.

    You might want to go a bit larger gives you a bit more scope, excuse the pun lol Hawke again you can’t go wrong with them I’ve got a hawke on my .22 air rifle and and a German Jobby on my rimfire both large spec but my eyes are rubbish so it helps.
