  11. what about older lenses.are any worth looking at? also does anyone use the extention rings. darcy your pics tend to speak for themselves as far as i'm concerned. along with quite a few others on here.
  12. contrary to popular opinion a lot of plummers will drop to ground same as any terrier. if you dont want it to ground, avoid any terrier small enough.
  13. size wont be an issue for you george. a bigger terrier could have its benefits. my best plummer is a big lump. as long as you are aware of this if you decide its worth breeding of at a later date. it shouldnt be a problem
  14. af-s or af-i cpu lenses are the best suited to your camera i think DnN. I had the nikon D3000. and got some distance pics with the tamron 70-300. but to be honest its a catch 22. as to get good clear distance shots i struggled to get enough light. and got camera shake so iv now invested in a new camera and tripod. but my funds wont stretch to a good distance lens so i will have to be patient. and will be interested in any info on this subject.
  15. there was 6 kids in my family. we never was without a dog in the house. i have reared another four into there twenties surouded by working dogs. any litters i have had have been reared amongst folk. socialised within a family atmophere. my dogs are well ajusted and my family are also taught to respect the animals. ive nothing against outside dogs but feel they are a more rounded animal if socialised. and i would agree that dogs are dogs and can never be trusted a 100% thats where common sense and good management and education come into it. ive never seen anything that affects working abil
  16. george if you are keen on a plummer put the word about. and if you have the work for a good terrier. a working breeder should come to you with an offer of a pup at a reasonable price. its in there interest to get the terriers to working homes. ask to see the terriers out and about . insist on seeing both parents. there are decent working folk with these terriers but you need to be patient. and do your homework and good luck
