  1. as far as i'm concerned. the only issue is the fact that these dogs/ pups are being sold as wheaten crosses. they are not.... they are mixed bred lurchers. none the worse for it maybe but the point is they are being paraded as something they are not. chris and co may not have known back in the day. but they do know now. so it would be better to call them what they are(to the best of your knowledge) and put this to bed. its much better to listen about what a dog can do. and ive heard this line isnt lacking in that department
  2. ive had a few. laky/jrt. i ike em. trusty. had a fair bit of laky through ward. jade had a fair bit of laky through gould/middlton both done me ok.
  3. be better to clear up the breeding of the pups. are they genuine wheaten crosses. if their is a doubt. they could be sold as lurcher to lurcher. a good pup is a good pup. whats in a name. atb. cs

  7. yes they kill cats. probably lift roadkill also
  8. its definately worthy of some consideration. and debate. i keep plummers and russells and have done most forms of terrierwork. and would probably be posting in more than one section. it would be a lot easier to spot the spoilers. as they would have to cross the subsections to make the one liners. that kill off many a good thread.
  9. i see there is new sub sections in ferretting. do you folk think that terriers could do with the same treatment. ie be spit into different catagories like earthdogs. ratting and rabbiting. bushing terriers/sporting terriers. it would maybe give the folk that dont work there terriers to ground more confidence to post with a little less intimidation. just putting it out there what do you all think. ?
  10. they are jes knives. top quality hand made.
  11. i'm of the opinion that its your dog. so its your choice. but if the dog is well bred go for it. but take a little advice when homeing spare pups. . good dogs are where you find them. good luck whatever you decide
  12. nos da pro....p.s got plenty of undiggable places where i live for your dog to go in and 'draw its kill'...feck sake never heard something so stupid in all my life. chow. i honestly wish i could tell as much about a dog from a pic.. stick a few up so i can form an opinion of the dogs you keep. and maybe you also, you come across as a bit of a knob. or someone with an axe to grind.ive given up keeping pics many years ago. but did have a feww very similar pics of dogs that got by fine. ive seen foxes drawn in many situations a handy dog to have imo. ive also been out ith oldred and dug
