  1. i use plummer terriers. hard to beat for that job. although my lurcher does a fair to middling job himself.
  2. i tried everything to ear out a ford ranger. never managed before the gaffer changed it for a newer model. great motor. but light on the back end spin out far to easy in the wet

  4. i would agree ith the above. but would add that the faster dogs cant look at the ground i run my dog on. they gain in pace but lose on durability. a good first cross is bred to work all terrain all weather. Total agree fellah, But where i am in the midlands big open land with thin hedges need a dog with a decent turn of foot and seen the them lack slightly here like you say diffrenet terrain suit diffrent X's agree'd

  8. i like a good first cross. and have one. i wouldnt have a lurcher with more than half greyhound.i think far to much is lost in the pursuit of fast dogs. jmo.

  15. shooting can get big numbers. but you cant shoot in a lot of area's . and conditions. i have no respect for any shooter that has no dog. guns/ rifles go hand in hand with dogs. ive seen and done both in fair numbers. and one without the other dos'nt feel right to me.

  19. get a barrowed in service. they wil put it in and you only pay for what you need no mess no waste. make it a workable mix.
