  1. Francie & Len both disagree with other peoples logic on the matter, they both think they are right. Yet one thinks the earth is less than six thousand years old and the other thinks insulting people on the internet makes him a big man. Both really need to get a grip and stop living in the Old Testament. Communal areas such has been described are probably the safest type of area for the children. A mother or father can put three four or five children in cubicles and watch over all the cubicles from the outside at the same time. Could they do this with separate changing rooms? We all, b

  5. So Francie, every one is the same as when in the pool in the changing area, (in swim costume)? Yet have cubicles to go and change in? What's the problem? TC
  6. Sea trout are just brown trout that go to sea to feed. Any river that has brown trout will have a run of Sea trout as long as they have access back to the river to spawn. Sea trout differ from Salmon in that even though they go to the sea to feed, they stay near the coast and return to the river every year to spawn. Unlike Salmon most large Sea trout are multiple spawned fish this can be read in their scales, where the larger growth rings ring denote their time of sea feeding and the narrow band are when they return to spawn. Of course this is a simplified version of what actually hap

  18. By 11 am it was 31.8C by mid day the sea breezes started so it's levelled off at 31c with breeze gusting to just over 20mph. If it was not for the breeze I think it would be unbearable. TC
  19. There is nothing wrong with photos of dead / trapped animals as such, if they are used in the right context. The photos of dead animals with just the words "I had these today" or what ever, serve no other purpose other than to boost the posters ego. However, a good write up with pictures or end of day shots tells a story, I know what I would rather see. People compare the trapping programs to internet forums, but the images you see on such programs are an integral part of the story, they show how they set the traps the daily trudge checking the traps so in that respect they are not at all

  21. If you are just sticking them up to get a reaction, then all it is doing is massaging your frail ego, because it sure as hell is not going to make anyone any the wiser. If you post them in the context of a tutorial on how you trap foxes and wild dogs then I do not see a problem with them. It really sounds to me as if you are good at your job, but for some reason you need the world to know? To the ones that say stick them up, what are you going to learn from looking at photos of dead animals? Please tell me as I must have been missing something these last 50 odd years. TC

  24. Just wondering how the sea trout vary from river to river. In this area there are 4 or 5 half decent sea trout rivers but each seems to have a different pattern of sea trout runs. The largest is the Towy and they get a run of very large sea trout in the spring, (March and April) however the fish tend to stay in the lower reaches of the river. Then come late September / October some drop back to the sea and run other smaller rivers to spawn we call them Twpsy Dail ( pronounced Dial) In English it reads Stupid Leaves. In May through June we get the normal sea trout run of fish, fish between two
