  3. The one I have is different to yours CJ simular type of blade and handle just slightly larger. I use it for breasting birds, deboning rabbits as well as out in the field. If I am not mistaken Phil Lloyd has one the same as I have. TC
  4. It was on here not so long back, general consensus was it was fake. TC
  5. I have had one of those for about 5 years now, you will not be dissapointed with it. I have never had to sharpen it just a few strokes with the steel and it is back as good as new. TC
  6. I can relate to a lot of what has been said above, money is really tight this year so it's only the grandkids that are getting any presents. I used to love xmas morning and seeing the kids faces, but now they have grown up and left the nest, it does not seem the same somehow. The only upside is I get to stay in bed a little longer instead of up at silly o'clock. Still all the veg has to be done then there is dinner to cook, so will be kept busy. TC
  7. While I agree with the sentiment of your post, that delay is sometimes all you need to put things right. TC
  8. Giro I was using a GWP for marking and as I used it for rough shooting and picking up it was not allowed to chase rabbits or touch them in the nets. TC
  9. An old mate called at the house this evening and the talk got around to rabbits slipping out of purse nets, It reminded me of a day about 4 years ago where every rabbit I bolted slipped the net 5 in all. There was no rhyme or reason to it, after the first one slipped the net I blamed myself and was extra carefull setting on the next warren. No change though the only occupant bolted and the net got caught in the brambles and tipped over sideways tipping the rabbit out of the net and off it ran. This continued for the next two warrens where for one reason or another the rabbit got out of the net
  10. No you got it all wrong it's dish dosh. TC

  12. 10 yard next then the 25 then the 50.........be prepared for all the pms coming your way lol.............and another thank you for taking the time to help me out with all the advice you have given me..... A little tip, if you do it like that you will end up with 4 yards of net left over, better to cut down on a yard or two off the longer nets than be left with 4 yards of netting. TC
  13. Nowt wrong with that net, set at 90 degree to a hedge will pick up any passing rabbit. Now get on with the bigger stuff TC

  20. Willie waving has gone on since Adam was a kid, as stated above in years gone by it was usually done in the pub or in the field and no harm was done. It is different now with the WWW everything you ever put on the WWW in never lost and is easily traceable. I do not agree with the law, but thats what it is, the law. And breaking the law brings it's conciquences, (if you get caught) to openly advertise that you break the law is frankly gross stupidity. It is tantamount to a burgler taking photos of a break-in and posting them on facebook. Of course it could be that they are just making a sta
