Now, thats how you learn. Try them in different situations, watch how the rabbits hit the net watch what happens next. In the end you will see how rabbits bolt differently depending where the nearest cover is. But most of all enjoy the learning process. TC

Right I have use of a pc now. To be successful at netting it pays to be resourceful and try things ( if you don't try and fail you will never learn.) There is a thread pinned in this catigory that tells you one way to add poles to a net, there are other ways but the way it shows works so it would be a good starting point. have a look for the thread I could give you a link but that would defeat the object. Good luck with you new venture into netting. TC

You obviously have no expieriece of nets. NOW is the time to learn. I am not trying to be clever, just trying to help you help yourself. Even when ferreting with long nets, you come up against new problems that have to be worked out on the spot. Unless you are willing to learn how to solve the problems you will be missing out on a lot. There is one surefire way to learn, and it,s not someone giving advice. Edited to make it readable. TC
  6. You can't beat a woman with a bit of gavel about them. Saves taking an orange to bed with you. TC
  7. Nice one. Did not know they had green and brown in the 8, they don't have it advertised. TC

  12. Could suck her tampon through a dirty sock. TC
  13. Blooxy phone!!! 13 meshes deep for tbe body of tbe net should give you a 50 yard net excluding selvedge. TC
  14. Clockwise to do it anticlockwise turn the spool upsidedown. If you put it on the floor and pull up it will twist. TC
  15. I use it vertically. Thé base of thé spool rotates nicely on thé collar of thé bat.
  16. Believe it or not I use the handle of a cricket bat with the bat stuck in a vice. this allows the spool to rotate around the bat handle. TC
  17. If it is thinner It is only Mlcrons. It is a lot less furry though. Incidently this net is now for sale in thé classifieds.
  18. As above a brand new unused hand made 4.25" x 14 meshes deep 25 yard Traditional long net. Made by myself, rigged by halves or 100% slack. On a set of second hand line pins that are old, not pretty but still work fine. Can be used as a quick set by adding poles. £60 plus postage at cost £3 first class R Mail TC
  19. Do you think that it is geographical? In that they may have ringers already operating in the area you live? That could be why they jumped at Pete's application so quickly, if they did not have a ringer in that area? TC
