    I feel like a 10 year old talking to adults, I want to know, but am wary of asking the wrong questions. The only experience I have had is within my own properties, and I am wondering if the way the rats act here is a-typical of the way rats act in general? Even when, through my tardiness they have become entrenched, they are not that diffcult to trap.     Pete, my cat eats shrews regularly, alright, usually just half of one and whats left is left on the front door mat. But what is left is usually just the head and chest cavity. Whats your take on neophobia in rats? Pesonally I don't think it is as big a deal as it is made out to be. Be intrested in your thoughts though. TC

    Not only will it destroy the countryside as we know it, what little land that is left will be used for GM crops to feed the animals. Bye-bye natural diversity. It really will be a sad day when that happens. TC

    It is not going to help British farmers, it will only help the investors, it is the death knell to traditional farming. Keep them all on a 100 acre site then sell the rest of the land for housing. TC

    FFS man up. we all have some kind of maladies, it comes with age. I was born all but blind in my right eye and to make it worse I am right handed. (think shooting) At twelve my father died, at 15 I lost two fingers and half my palm of my right hand, at 17 my mother died leaving me as the eldest of 5 children. Sh!t happens then we die. FFS grow a pair and stop moaning. TC

    When I first started on my allotments I was green to say the least. While most of the other allotment holders were very friendly and I did glean some great tips from them, when it came to problems and diseases with the plants they were just like myself a little green. So I decided to try and educate myself as to common plant maladies and how to remedy them, without resorting to some witches brew concotions.     this storm is going to hit your neck of the woods, also skimming south west and ireland are gonna cop it big time, thanks for your interest TC... Right, I will stuck my neck out here and say that the winds will not excede gusts of 45mph anywhere in the country over the next week.
